I remember I used to play this game at the evenings, under a warm blanket. I cried when the Deku Tree withered. I was frightened of the skeletons on Hyrule Field. I was TERRIFIED by the zombies within the Family Grave of the royal family. I was jealous at Link, that he got the honour of talking to Zelda. Last but not least, I slept with the light on, after being snapped by the hand in the Forest Temple. It still happens that I pick up the game and play some, just for old times sake. OoT forever

If this fight was in twilight princess instead of the normal one, the game would get 11/10 all the time. Now Ocarina of time is somewhat more epic.

@augustp12 it was rereleased yes and it came with OOT master quest. and their is anther version released on the game cube that included LOZ, Adventure of link, OOT,and MM.

They ruined this in the 3DS version... They fixed the lighting so that you could actually see Ganon. Seriously, the fact that you can't see him makes this boss fight so entertaining! But hey, it's still awesome.

@bradenhunter11 What Navi meant, was that this time she can get close to Ganondorf, so that you can Z-target him, making it easier to fight him. Navi was referring to the time when Link met Ganondorf back up in his castle, where she couldnt get near him, due to his magic caused by the triforce of power. Hope it was understandable

Time line theory split. At the vary end, As long as I have the triforce of power in my hand I can never be defeated, and he got bannished inoth the realm. On TP, and sorry if I spoiled it for any one, he comes when the sages are about the kill him, he shows the TF of power and resurects once again.

I beat this SO long ago and I just now realized you could use light arrows on Ganon lol. I would always dodge his attack and just roll under him. I didn't know hw could be stunned.

This game was a true masterpiece. I remember me being so lucky because I reserved one like 8 months in advance and people were trying to buy them from rental stores because it was sold out everywhere.

First Zelda game I got 100% on. In Link to the Past, I was stuck at 19 1/4th heart containers.

in the fight, i rolled underneath ganon's legs (it works) and then i slash his tail with biggoron sword, then he turns around then i roll beneath his legs again and slash again. repeat. i killed him very quickly, and continued to use the biggoron sword even after i retriveved the master sword, and only use master sword at the very end when i have to. hope this advice helps ;)
