    Maravilhoso!! E ainda brasileira...quanto orgulho!

  • Extraordinário! A nota final.

  • I'm doing this version for my college auditions i love itt!

  • Holy smokes... that high G is inhuman! What a glorious voice, too, so light and sweet but clear as crystal!

  • I can't believe she went up to the G! Ridiculous! (In a good way... I'm pretty sure, although it does set an impossible standard. :) )

  • absolutely beautiful, especially that note at the end. was daring, but she nailed it. her voice suits the playfulness of the song so well.

  • Great interpretation and great voice.

  • wonderful!!!

  • das g''' am schluß ist unfaßbar toll!!!

  • gorgeous!!

  • Amazing..3 octave

  • I sang this for solo festival a little under a year ago, I wish I could've done this well! The german came easy for me, the high notes did not:) She did absolutely wonderful!

  • Bellissima l'aria.

    BELLISSIMA L'NTERPRETAZIONE.

    Una voce da sogno!

  • eso se llama ENVIDIA jajajajaja

  • pshhhhh shes not a soprano...haha that wasnt high at allllllllll ;) (yes i am being very sarcastic ) lol amazing as always. I LOVE Carlas singing ^^

  • OH GOSH. O_O

that's the only thing I can say. O_O

    so... amazing.. O_O

  • Cantora excepcional, Carla canta muito mesmo!! Que ultima nota é aquela?? É espantoso o vigor que ela dá a ultima nota!

  • She's one of the best sopranos I have heard sing this aria. I hate it when some girls speed through those high notes. She times it really well.

  • also I loved how she went higher than the D. It sounds so much better that way.

  • marvelous!! :)

  • the last note is only high D......from Mozart´s Zauberflöte is High F, 3 half tones higher than Fledermaus.....

  • In the score it is only high D, yes. But she goes higher after singing the D here - and yes, it is the G above Queen of the Night High F, i.e. two half tones higher. So, you're both right. :-)

  • Great voice!

  • i've got a question.....is the last note Carla sang in this song the same that there's in O' zitt're nicht from the magic flute?

  • and more generslly....is the last note she sang here, the most high in opera???

  • She sings a high G at the end. On the piano it's called a G6. On the original score it's written a G5. It's impressively high, but I don't think it's the highest note written in opera or art music.

  • Iam really overwhelmed. The laughing song and

O Zittre Nitch are songs very very beautiful!°Thank you Carla, thanK you Kimera you are the best

  • Where is Papageno when you need him?

  • Quieres escuchar un angel en la tierra???

  • thanks for the translation

  • Even if not as powerful, bright, clear, in the high notes, as Gruberova (whose finale made the audience stand up and explode in applause before the end), she is just as charming, goes even higher (and sustains it) - and (at my surprise) Rieu's tempo and conducting is IMO more appropriate than Prévin's: finally Maffioletti and Rieu beat the best!

  • What does IMO mean?

  • in my opinion

  • ALos wans't she only twenty five when singing this?

  • Paris hilton, Britney spears. Jessica simpson although she doesn;t sing at all instead of lip-synching it all

  • I think you're thinking of Ashlee Simpson. She was the one caught lip-synching.

  • I really would care less if I could. They all look the same to me. :\

  • beautiful. 5

  • Carla Maffioletti's voice is among the best i have ever heard. i love her high G. her voice is sooo bright and she's so cute.

    blew me away!

  • Su voz y su simpatìa es una bendiciòn de Dios!

  • In fact, that last note is a G. My God, my highest note is the A above that, but I couldn't hit the G that well after all those other high notes! I love how in her voice you can actually hear her switching registers to hit those notes. Not quite so effortless for me. :)

    PARABENS!!!

  • This is one of my favorite performances in Andre's concerts. Carla is amazing.

  • I thought that was C above high C still it's pretty damn amazing

  • Wow, that's a high G at the end (higher than the F in Mozart's Queen of the Night Aria)...it doesn't even look like an effort for her!

  • good actress too

  • I love Carla Maffioletti I had the big pleasure to meet her here in Brazil, before wif been togheter to Rieu group and before that happens she just be a star but know everyone have the same pleasure tu heard her beautiful and somethimes her increeadable voice. I think Rieu Orquestra is happy to have so huite talent wif them! She rally is a Stratosféric Soprano, no just in her voice but in her's talent! i love her and the great work by Andre Rieu!

  • and its also on the CD I have ^^

    I love this operetta

  • thats on the dvd "The Flying Dutchman" My mom has it.
