  • That Baritone Sax is just so fucking HEAVY. that's what made me fall in love with this rad track when I saw them on Last Call with Carson Daly.

  • BombSauce (;

  • G0d th1s s0ng 1s s0 aw3s0me!!!

  • kick fuckin ass!!

  • I always thought this song was about a black widow/serial killer.

  • God, I love this band and I LOVE THIS SONG.

  • how catchy!

  • Is it just me or do the lyrics make almost no sense...

  • Verses:

This is a play, that takes place in a freezer. Count your blessings it's far removed from your group of peers, from your circle.

Five little rooms, one for each of my husbands, one for each of my bridegrooms, and their prostitutes, and their children.

Take a breath of the scenery, all of this someday could be yours. Cross your heart, click your heels and get the hell away.

Hung on a pole right next to a McDonalds in a suburban shopping mall. At half mast again, between shootings.

  • AWESOME SAUCE

  • Good stuff

  • they sound like the beta band no?

  • @foilseal yeah they do... but they are even beta...! haha...

  • Five little rooms sounds kinda nice

  • I just came across this, through my favorite Radiostation! Where are they from? I am impressed, great song!

  • @Mcy81 Where all the best music is coming from...Portland Oregon!!! :)

  • @dynamicd24 Okay, then I know where you come from...! :-) But I thought the best music is all from England...! Name another good band from Portland O.!

  • @Mcy81 The Helio Sequence, Blind Pilot, The Shins (although not originally formed in P-town, are now based there), The Decemberists, Blitzen Trapper, Pink Martini.......and many other lesser known bands, there is quite a bubbling hub of indie music emerging in Portland :)

Two bigger older acts are The Dandy Warhols and Everclear.....

  • @dynamicd24 Alright then, a big Aaaahaaah(!) from my side here! Thank's for the info, I guess you learn something every day...! :-)

    Greets from Hamburg/Germany

  • @dynamicd24 and @Mcy81 And not to forget Eliott Smith, the Kingsmen (Louie, Louie!) and the Wipers (who got pretty big in Germany, and were a huge influence on Kurt Cobain), Nu Shooz and Quarterflash (hah!) and yet others who have relocated here—Stephen Malkmus (Pavement), Spoon, Sleater-Kinney, and more.)

But Mcy81, you're right. Most of the best is (or maybe, was) from the UK. :-)

  • @pdxtosca

Thanks for adding to the list :) and I was mostly showing some Pacific northwest pride in boldly claiming the best music is coming from Portland. Clearly GREAT music can be found all over, especially the UK..... that list would be a mile long!
