  • This is a great video! If we sent you some of our Ultra Bright LED strip light, would you review it for us?

  • If you use 220V strips, just need one power plug to support 100 meters long strips. so you son't need much more power supply unit. and we have it in stock, if anyone has interest, pls contact me, tonyguo@live.cn.

  • can u put them in car

  • Where did you get the idea to do this? I'm moving into a new place soon, and it gives me WORLDS of ideas.

  • Were you doing only one run shorter then 16 ft? Why did you cut it?

As for the tape-Yes. As for the clips, if you're doing more work with the strips I can sell you a bag-I've got an order coming in in about 10 days. How many do you need?

  • @leonardodalongisland I did 5 runs. I don't need any, my setup is working fine. Thanks for your comments. Hopefully some others will find them helpful.

  • Brother, You spent more money, then you had to, did more work then you had to and even bought a driver too large for your needs. Who ever sold you that reel ripped you off-by not including wires on the end and not having the 3M tape on it. The ones I sell/use come with the tape and pre wired. You can also buy (very cheap) clips that snap on to the ends-no need to solider.

  • @leonardodalongisland They did have wires on the end, except where I cut. Links to clips? That'd be helpful. Do the waterproof ones have 3M tape? Only the non-waterproof ones did have tape when I was looking.

  • when soldering them, did you struggle? im currently struggling with them and wanted to see if you had any tips

  • @Geo1Lakers I struggled. Heat and the copper "soaks" the solder, so there's probably some trick to heating the backside of something to make the solder soak through or something. Also, using flux might be helpful. If you or anyone has any tips, please share.

  • Thanks for being true help...names, websites, cost and so on.

  • @MinisterLynne No problem at all. Thanks for letting me know it was helpful.

  • Good job! I always think that not enough lights output for this type, I will try it. Thanks for sharing.

  • @dvh065 No problem. Glad you liked it.

  • regarding the connection to the driver. Is the driver grounded by the hard wire? Did you use more strips for other cabinets? If so, how many drivers did you need?

  • @phildelarosa I used only one 150w driver in total. I used almost two reels (I have a few feet left over). The input AC is grounded on the power supply.

  • @phildelarosa

the power of driver depends on the total power of the flexible strip.

  • Just to help you out a little bit. You buy by the meter, and a reel is 5 meters long. The reason it was blue, is because you bought white or what is call cool white, which is 6000k, mainly used for video as it is closes to the sun. So you don't have to paint next time get warm white, that way it won't take all the color out of the room. Also be very careful with Lux and Lumens. As most companies like to fudge the numbers. Look at the fine print, they will all use 1,000 Luminous flux mcd.

  • @Candyman97 Thanks. I contacted the seller and he said he has two colors of warm white. Oh well. Maybe I should have complained, but I don't expect much from a cheap ebay seller from Hong Kong. I agree about the numbers. From looking at the circuits, It seems like there are only a few main manufacturers.

  • hay how much was it?

  • @fireworks123Boom The roll was like $67 each or something (I used two). The transformer was like $35.

  • You're right, there's not much out there - this was helpful. I got no instructions at all with my reel

  • thanks

  • @drebo699 No problem. I hope I helped spread some information. There is not much out there.
