There are three games that got me into the FPS genre

Goldeneye 007 introduced me to the genre

Perfect Dark got me interested it and it was my first co-op game

Halo pretty much made me a fan of the genre

These 3 is what got me into the genre

The first one introduced me, the second one got me interested and better with FPS games, and the third just made me a fan of the genre. I know it's hard to explain, but without these three, I would not become a fan of the FPS genre, so, thanks Rare and Bungie

one thing I liked about this game is if a bad guy sees you on the first floor and your on a balcony or something, he won't just run up and then shoot you. that was one thing that was alittle cheesy about goldeneye, and I really liked the blood effects, i remember I would have duel submachine guns and when the bad guys would do that death animation where they fall to their knees, I would just UNLOAD on their faces, fuckin disguisting but I loved it

Yeah. Perfect Dark had the most note worthy AI opponents. Playing against Perfect and Dark sims with one-shot-kills isn't as easy task. I just wished the xBox360 arcade remake was more popular.

@roboguy75 XBLA is full of past remakes. As far as Rare is concerned, there's Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie (far more worthwhile purchases than N&B IMO). There's also Megaman 9 (10 coming soon), Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, etc.. of course Microsoft's only involvement with those is that it's being released on their platform, but you get my point.

It had no aliens, no conspirisy, the level's relied on stealth and gadgets (which sucked major balls since there was NO camspy or Disguises WTF the original had 2!!) and the biggest kick in the balls of all was the semi-relistic weapons with the M-4 and AK-47 look alike, the useless roll and cover AND no familier characters AND FINALLY....the multiplayer with no simularity's 007 goldeneye what-so-ever!

Perfect Dark Zero sucked all that was fun

Verdungo was the monster that was one Salazar's body guards you fought in Resident Evil 4 that was a pain in the ass that crawled through the ground and sealings that you had to hit with the freeze canisters in order to hurt. PD64 with online multiplayer on the Xbox Live market place would freaking rule, and sell way better than PDZ. Anyone who played PD64 can tell you that PDZ wasn't even worth PD64 wiping its feces on.

PDZ was one of the biggest let-downs I've ever seen, right up there with Halo 2 and Oblivion.

Maybe if the same people who made PD64 worked on PDZ it would've been better, but I mean come on... Garbage sims, NO CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION?! Pathetic.

Nintendo didn't sell Rareware to Microsoft. Microsoft bought them. It was a hostile takeover. PDZ was originally going to be released for the gamecube and when microsoft bought Rareware, it was then going to be released on the original xbox but then Microsoft gave them another year and told them to get it ready for the 360.
