The blonde woman gets a lot of screen time in this scene, making me wonder if maybe she was a stripper who was showing off how her bump 'n' grind could now be repositioned onto the dance floor as go-go moves. Which I approve of.
@Beatlemania62 Here is what the cd liner says about them: "The Castels were based out of Memphis, TN and started out trying to emulate the Beatles. They quickly gained success and recorded "Save A Chance" for the local WildFire label in September of '65. They re-recorded it for the Black Gold label with a 12-string giving it a more polished sound. They continued on, releasing four more singles for various labels including Laurie Records."
Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.
Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.
I like my 60's music a little more dark and raw usually (real stompers haha), but this video is amazing. This party looks so different than anything that happens nowadays and they all look so CUTE!
i'd like to find a time machine and step into that room. thanks for posting all of these rareities for our ears and eyes to enjoy. i love the footage you put together. your videos are great!
Thanks for the nice comments. Where are our 60's time machines, scientists?! I'll keep putting out the vids for as long as you all keep diggin' em' :)

Did The Castels do anything else apart from this? I'm addicted to this track and surprised they were never huge
