In Colorado we have theEisenhower Tunnel with the "bore" (westbound tunnel) at 1.693 mi (2.72 km) long while the Johnson bore (eastbound tunnel) is 1.697 mi (2.73 km) long. However, I think this sort of hoonage would not go unnoticed by the authorities since it has cameras. It is the longest tunnel in the US Interstate System. Imagine screaming through it and the glorious sounds it would produce.

I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old DOHC Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
I swear, years ago, I saw this little road sign in Italy, just before tunnels - it was a round red circle with two shapes crossed out, the shapes were a Ferrari 308 alongside a revcounter reading 1000rpm - and at the end of the tunnels stood armed Carabinieri who would arrest and on-the-spot-fine you 50 million Lira for anything under 6000rpm...
@tpvalley They are not too expensive, range from around 600 uk pounds for a system from superformance right up to around 1600 uk pounds in stainless steel
and the second set are the Bryn Glas tunnels in Newport :) Try the Bay Tunnels down in Cardiff, for some reason the squareness makes a much better sound :D
Monmouth by any chance?

I like the 308 ferrari , in particular the 308 with carburators ( 1978 - 80 ) for the music's motor.
I've got a 308 Quatrovalvole 1985.
Is it yours in this vidéo ?
Have you got another vidéo about 308 ?
