@mocatmancb "No-trap" in this case means no live traps that can hurt the animal and that are left unattended with the animal trapped. He was using the trap to get a hold of the animal, not leave a booby trap. I have met him and he is a nice guy. And as far as relocation goes, who cares? He was helping it to stay out of trouble. Think before you criticize someone you have never met.

This is the EXACT reason I will not get a wildlife rehab permit. Here in Colorado anyone can provide assistance to a sick or injured animal as long as you relinquish the animal to the DOW or a licensed rehabber within 24 hours(if you can catch it or it doesn't get away ;) ). You dont need a license to rescue a wild animals in Colorado or a license to do wildlife control and skunks are on the S&#(* list :(......

kudos to Ned for trying to help these guys out(animals) rather then the skunks and raccoons ending up run over on the road or shot etc.
