@blacktooth nope, they were going to have practice at a later time in the day so jihn and his freind decided to go rat because they had time,.he drank 40 shots of vodka and choked on his vomit that night
i still think John Bonham's story is crazy, he died at birth over in england or some shit, but the nurse had to go drag a drunk doctor from the bar in the hospital to revive this dead baby because the first doctor just walked out?? is this true.. what the fuck?!?!
@HeroineChurch - cuz it's perfect in this context to describe the cunty-ness of the faggots that don't like this artful masterpiece... & they're just words, only words... people need to relax & should say whatever they feel whenever they feel it, & not have to question whether using a word (in a casual setting such as this) that describes a thing clearly is appropriate or not..
@despodork In other words you say words on the internet because you have anonymity and no accountability. People may be offended by your sloppy and reckless hate slurs.
@rachielizabeth1023 The only other common meaning would be "stick" , which he isn't using. He is clearly using the term faggot to associate a negative connotation with homosexuality.
Whenever I hear people say that Led Zeppelin is overrated, I direct them to this song. This is a traditional blues/gospel song done up all bad ass. Page solos the shit out of this song. Bonham is amazing, as usual. Plant's vocals are among his best on this one. Four British guys knew the blues and looked beyond the standard structure. Incredibly savvy and intelligent rock and roll, IMO. Love the Led.
@Hellion6325 JPJ is one of the best multi-instrumentalists I listen to. Him and Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips. JPJ is a great producer too! REM's Automatic for the People. His Zooma solo project is really good and Them Crooked Vultures! JPJ was the wit in Led Zeppelin. Point and case: the song No Quarter.
@skinnybuddhaboy It's my fault. I hang around way too many music snobs! To be fair, some of them know what's up. Hard to argue against this album. Trampled Under Foot, Sick Again, Wanton Song, Ten Years Gone, etc. This entire album is amazing.
@ajgree6 though I think JPJ deserves some credit too (sorry if I'm being fastidious), I couldn't agree with you more: Led Zeppelin is in a class of its own.
@ZoomixTV obviously, that LSD trip fucked your brain up pretty bad since your spelling and grammar is so off.. haha it's okay though, don't feel too bad. My mom is pretty retarded from acid too. GOD BLESS that poor, magnificent woman
Eargasm at 8:04..... I'm just a 17 years old girl and I listen every single day to Led since the 14 years..... So little time, I know, but I regret with all my heart all the years without knowing about these Gods!
I now see where jack white gets his influence from :) I'm so greatful that my dad got this on vinyl :D My respect for these guys will never know a limit
Jimmy's slide guitar playing is absolutely fantastic in this song, but something I find even more incredible is Bonzo's drumming. John Bonham is my musical idol. I'd rank him up there with Hendrix as one of the biggest losses to the musical world IMO.
I started listening to Led Zeppelin when I was about 12 or 14 cuz my dad would play it in the car haha. I started listening to them more in high school and now I'm 22 and I still do :). I would listen to my mom's records and cds, now it's nice having them on my ipod lol.
@radtke1965 dude, youve said this on a number of zeppelin songs, i think you need help for your addiction to porn, id hate to see what your member looks like, probably all calused up. enjoy the music, reject the FANTASY OF PORN, ITS VERY DAMAGING TO THE SOUL.
To both you of you, and i hope no one's gone yet? Keep on staying strong, and don't give up, FIGHT, FIGHT,FIGHT, and have a wonderful life................. I also play drum's since 82'
At 8:18 mark we used to sing "Oh my Cheez-It's...Oh my Cheez-it's." Back in college, sitting on the couch, drinking beer, and playing video games while listening to Physical Graffitti.
when listening to this i feel like god himself is playing guitar in my ears till im in a heavenly state of bliss which of course is happening... but better
Not only was the 60s 70s and 80s great music, but for those of us who were around when great bands began, it holds great memories of times when we held so many hopes and dreams, we had no major responsiblities and the world was ours for th...e picking. We also believed nothing bad could ever happen in our lives. Those youthful memories happen but once in a lifetime and the music holds those incredible memories and that is one powerful bond. No wonder we love our old school music so much.
I told my wife my last dying wish was to have my favorite Zeppelin tune played at my funeral, And yes, As loud as it can be played. Im only 41 but in failing health. Without Zeppelin I would have never had the fun I did when going through life. Also want my Ludwig Snare with me as well. Today, I dedicate this to all you You Tubers cranking it today. Peace All..............
@THEATREofPAIN270 Fuck me too I am almost 51 and this is what I want played at my wake...I want no funeral, just put me in the ground, man, 'cause what is ME will have already moved on.....but I want people to drink and smoke and groove to this.....
@THEATREofPAIN270 be well, great luck!!! hang on, led zep reunion, with jason! plant get out of alison's ass, out of tennesse, and back to where you belong, make your tru fans happy!!! you like floyd , possibilty there, not really, just want you to be well, be strong bud!!!
@THEATREofPAIN270 Sorry to hear about your health....I want either this song or Stairway to Heaven at my funeral,lol....Led Zeppelin was a huge part of my life growing up....I almost got to see them in 79/80 American tour, but it was cancelled due to the untimely death of Bonham....I wanted them to continue with a new drummer, but as you know, they didn't have it in their heart to go on without Bonham.
@THEATREofPAIN270 hope you lived well my friend. a friend of mine died quite recently and i know she was a happy girl, and it makes me feel a lot better. so if you are near the end, all i can tell you is to have fun.
This song always blew me away. The drums are just..........HEAVY. Physical Graffiti is my favorite Zeppelin album. I love them all but this one holds a special place.
