@hamo1701 Well, I can't take credit as I have mentioned too many times before, I did not build the model. I used madkoifish's model to render the scene.
@archangel72367 First and foremost, thank you for not being hostile with your beliefs; I can't tell you how many times I've been attacked about my liking the JJprise.
Second of all, I hope you won't mind if I ask you what and why exactly don't you like the JJprise?
@BattlestarPacifica But this looks a lot like the reboot's version. The only difference I can see is in the plating and the not-blue Bussard Collectors.
@OathToOblivion The biggest difference between this version and the jj-prise monstrosity is that this version actually looks like the Enterprise. The proportions are spot on. On the jj-prise the proportions are all wrong. Saucer is too big, nacelles are stupid big and cone shaped with some stupid looking scoops all over them and blue (?!?!?!?!) bussards, the connecting dorsal is upside down and too far back, and the secondary hull looks like a tube of toothpaste.
U mean; was it my intent, or that they are too bright considering. If the first, my intent was to match the lighting as close as high altitude, low orbit shots of the ISS and shuttle are. If the second, no-same reason... Hope I answered sufficiently ;)
I really like this. Something I've been wanting to see. Question: Aren't the colours on the Enterprise bright considering both direct and scattered sunlight? Just asking.
I like the idea a lot, high altitude cloud photos always make for interesting backdrops.. my only suggestion would be instead of using the background channel, I'd map the backdrops onto either a flat polygon or the inside of a half sphere, that way you can pan the camera around a bit and make the shot a little more dynamic.
Thank you.

I think both the original and JJprise are cool.
This one combines the best of both.

Well done, the saucer seems just slightly too thick and I'm not sure i like the red markings on top but otherwise splended job.

Great model, though the Abrams version is not my favourite. The movement needs a bit of work.

@greyareaRK1 A. This isn't the JJprise. B I didn't build it. C This video is over a year old. Thank you for commenting

Here's the top three of my Favorite Enterprise List:
1 JJ's Staship Enterprise
2 The Enterprise shown in this video (close second; knocking the Enterprise-C down to third place
3 USS Enterprise-C (knocking the NX-01 down to fourth place)

@ttow1944 Why the extra 1 on the hull number?

Would have preferred this Enterprise design than the one used in the the 2009 film. JJ Abrahms needs to go away, fast.

@BattlestarPacifica Absolutely! This is a much better Enterprise than that JJ monstrosity.

@teatyme12 I downloaded the model from the web and rendered it in Lightwave 3d.

Where did you get the music from? I would like to know where you got it and you did a bang up job on the ship, very cool!
winkster01 11 months ago
@winkster01 Thanks, but I am an animator, not a Modeler, the model was built by Madkoifish. The Music is from the extended Motion Picture soundtrack.
