I can play this over and over and never get tired of it. It is like hearing it for the first time each time I listen. Daryl Singletary also does a great version of Johnny's song. I wish we still had Johnny and singers like him today. No comparison in today's silly songs and songs like this.

Paycheck was so underrated, and still is today. This man is a true legend, and he stands tall right next to George Jones, Waylon, Willie, Cash and all of the rest of the legends. They need to put him in the Hall of Fame, and shame on them for not having done it yet. This just beats the HELL out of anything they are playing on the radio today!

I would more than anything like to have seen him when he was still alive. To sad i was born in the wrong country and to young to have been able to see him live and change a couple of words.
