All of those features within that fight didn't exist for the Final Fantasy 13 I got, which is for Xbox 360.....Lightning couldn't smash people into monitor screens nor turn around and shoot a huge fireball....at least now how she did it.....does anyone else see any differences from what the actual game is? Or maybe its just me O_o

depends what you mean by better; i wouldn't mind playing it on xbox if the only difference was multiple disc changes. as far as graphics go, i'm not sure (as with other multi platform games have shown) whether there will actually be a significant difference, ie. one owing the implication of blu-ray technology in the ps3. also, according the square enix website, there are currently more nintendo and microsoft exclusives than ps3 exclusives

It should be coming out the same time as the ps3 version, which is now march 2010. It has been delayed because they are building the xbox version technically from scratch

Yes my 360 has been through its ring of death stage. However microsoft were more than helpful and I had my 360 back within a week and a half with 1 month of xbox live for free, they even payed for postage.
But ps3 have their faults too, and sony are less friendly with repairs I hear.

According to Amazon the release date for Final Fantasy XIII is December 1, 2009 and the release date for Final Fantasy Versus XIII is December 13, 2009. However Square did say to disregard any release dates other than the ones they post themselves...

im still waiting to see what the gameplay is gonna be for ff13 versus. i hope the make like kingdom hearts except more realistic, since it is made by the people whi developed kingdom hearts. i hop3 ff13 iss more traditional though because i still like traditional turn base. two different gameplay for ff13 and 13 versus would be nice

360 sucks. everyone who buys it gets red rings. no offense. I hear the games are really fun though. but ps3 rarely doesn't have an6y problems. 360 and ps3 is like comparing american cars to japanese cars. :)

Yes my 360 has been through its ring of death stage. However microsoft were more than helpful and I had my 360 back within a week and a half with 1 month of xbox live for free, they even payed for postage.
But ps3 have their faults too, and sony are less friendly with repairs I hear.
Ps3s are so expensive and you know what?..Sony arn't even making a profit from their consoles, they cost too much too make and their ridiculous prices arn't even ENOUGH to make profit, way to fail sony.

really? maybe it just depends on which place you get it fixed at. I think pho ps3, as long as you don't get any problems then it should be alright. im not fan boy of either, but I'm always hearing the cons of both consoles. But I'd buy a ps3 if i had the money cause of the awesome games like versus and MGs4. COD4 I could can buy for Pc.
thing is for me, i always played with PS growing up. so adjusting to a new console is kinda weird for me.

But they made up for it in the games, which explains y they are generally more expansive than 360s
But the 40GB and the new 80GB have been making profits
also the reason y 360s are cheaper is u have to pay for your online play, unlike the ps3
but i like both consoles although i like the ps3 more and its HD is soo much better along with my surround sound xD
the 360 has is good sides
but thats besides the point

some people say versus is more amazing than 13 but they need to be reminded that its a fighting game, youll probably like it if you like kingdom hearts, which i do, but they need to make the battles less repetive, maybe more devil may cry like, but i still like ff13 more because lightning is like, the most brilliant character square could have come up with, she was the character x-2 needed to sell the game story, because x-2 is ohnestly a really good game when it comes to combat

no way, Final Fantasy as are all Square Enix games, are for the PS2 with some exceptions where there are contracts with nintendo as with the first 3 final fantasies and Kingdom Hearts: CoM

According to Amazon the release date for Final Fantasy XIII is December 1, 2009 and the release date for Final Fantasy Versus XIII is December 13, 2009. However Square did say to disregard any release dates other than the ones they post themselves...

they both will have the same theme, regarding the Crystal as the major plot device. ffversus13 will have a darker serious tone to it and ff13 will be serious but slightly lighter in tone. ffversus13 will play like devil may cry/kingdom hearts while ff13 will play like a next-gen rpg. it depends on which one you favor most

I heard, and this is EXTREME speculation, that the protagonist of this FF game is actually related to our good buddy cloud, it seems to be close to the same day and age of Cloud, most of the speculation says that she is his daughter/granddaughter.
