it wasn't scored by the guy who was actually in the movie. the artist's name is gogol bordello, and the character eugene is loosely based on the frontman "eugene hutz" of gogol bordello. not exactly sure why they had the whole gogol bordello influence, but the music is great

It's based off the short story "Kneller's Happy Campers" by Etgar Keret (pretty sweet name) which is an excellent read for anyone who like this movie. Best part: At one point the men find themselves in a Palestinian bar, and an Israeli suicide asks a Palestinian suicide, “Is it true that when you people go out on a job they promise you seventy nymphomaniac virgins in Kingdom Come?...” The Palestinian replies, “Sure, they promise, and look what it got me. Lukewarm vodka.”

I think one of the best parts about this movie is that Tom Waits is in it. And the guy who plays Eugene was inspired by Eugene Hutz (who's band does most of the music in the movie). Pretty good.

What i took from the movie is that: "miracles" happen when you don't care.

And so i wonder, does love work that way?

Movie is stupid. It shows that one cannot get what they want (love, for instance) when they want it. That is so stupid and unfair. That means 1) you have to pretend to not want what you want, in order to get it, or 2) you get the cards you are dealt and there is nothing you can do about it. This is bulls-! Fuck this. Novel story. Dumb moral.

i really liked wristcutters, but the end was kinda not awesome. it was okay, but still not amazing. i like that a lot of the music in the movie was by people in the movie (Gogol Bordello and Tom Waits) and i liked the dark humor

I like this movie a lot. I like the concept of what happens after suicides because it still says you get punished for it so it's not glorifying it or anyhting but its not this you go straight to hell for killing yourself but it also sucks cause sometimes there are situations where people are trapt and I know people say there's always a way out or it'll get better but sometimes things are what they are & you have no choice or you're gonna be there for a long time & the situation's just too heavy.
