  • Where is this ? where they climbing?

  • @DomNaSekwanie They're not climbing, they're doing the cable hike at Yosemite National Park. Its on Half Dome, a granite rock formation.

  • is that half dome?

  • Yer Gonna Die!!!

  • that made my sthomache feel like puking BLAH

  • does anyone know if this is a oneway path???

  • @pasckymix Two ways. Lots of coordination as people ascend and descent. Hold tight!

  • Ive gone up this a couple times, and yeah having carbiners is probably better. I know that the pitch is steep enough in places that you got beyond the limits of adhesion with your shoes.

  • Live every day as if it is your last. One day , you'll be right.

  • @ecotahoe Is That Steve Jobs quote??

  • hahha if the first one on the top had fallen it takes everybody down with it :D

  • @twint1p Yes, everyone but me. You can't see it, but I am using a dual carabiner system so I was never unclipped from the cable :).

  • @TrapperVT u r only one with brain :D that place looks awesome!

  • @twint1p Thanks! It just seemed like common sense to me. Hiking up Half Dome was one of my top life experiences. Two days later I swam from the yacht club at San Francisco to Alcatraz.. Trying to send a link to pictures from my Half Dome climb and the Alcatraz swim but it won't let me post, will try messaging you direct. Thank for posting.

  • awesome view

  • this is madness, doing it by yourself i could understand but trusting others not to take you down is a bit of a stretch, do peoples never think of consequences?

  • I am with you on that! I had a dual carrabiner system and so was never unclipped from the cables. People going by me were saying, "that's a good idea". Well yeah!

  • @mirdavanfe It never really happens though. Just like you trust other people when you're traveling at 70+ mph. that's like someone chosing not to drive on the freeway ever because it's dangerous. The view at the top of Half Dome is incredible, why live your life being so safe, you have to give up all the good things in it?
