  • So Preterism is wrong but Dispensationalism is right...Is that correct??

  • ive been studying the preterist view over 16 years, never herd of rcc being the source. preterism is focused on the matt 24/ luke 21 olivet discourse connected to the destruction of Jerusalem 40 years later in that same generation. The words of Christ are clear,,,to clear and too simple for most. matt 24:34/ matt 10:23/ matt 16:28, 27. and over 100 more. The words are too clear and too simple to be believed by most today. i beleive those words. amen

  • You didn't even discuss preterism.

  • Then make a video about it and help me out.

  • wayman29 I was a hyperpreterist for 15 years but have since renounced it. Please view the 9 minute video on the history of hyperpreterism (pronounce pret (rhymes with bet)...preterism.

Preterism is a heresy rising within the Church. If you haven't come across it you will, since its adherents are mainly online & militantly everywhere.

  • Hello Wayman29, I enjoyed your explanations here. I left a message for Mels and thought you could use this reference too. Check out

preteristarchive. com and there are literally years worth of archives there. I've studied the usual end times teaching for over 20 years and always kept away from preterist topics until a few years ago. Fascinating. Problem is some hold end times as if not believing it is damnation. The cross is dwarfed by that attitude. Anyway, check it out and hope you list it.

  • Very thoughtful presentation...this is a most interesting topic [fulfilled eschatology] for discussion.

All the dots needed to be connected...

    ...staying tuned for more!

  • "A Hidden Revolution: The Pharisees' Search for the Kingdom Within" by Ellis Rivkin

"Jesus" wasn't the only one who spoke about the Kingdom of Heaven within being a PRESENT reality.

  • Hey excellent! Thanks!

  • Thank you. I just found out someone I listed to regularly on Bible radio was a Preterist . I needed this information. Great job as always.

  • The New jerome Biblical commentary is on sale for 60 bucks on Amazon. If I pursue this then I will check it out at my library. I will check out your links today. Some of the books you listed are on Google books but not the commentary.

  • Caesar's Messiah is all about the Preterist view.

  • Yes your correct...Thanks! Hey I am starting the Eiseman book that I had sitting around..
