Every "heel hook from their guard" vids I see always involve the person just opening their guard up all willy nilly. A person doesn't open their guard because you just stand up. This is a very ineffective technique and will fail 99% of the time. You can try it while practicing, but don't ever attempt it in a tourny or you will lose position and possibly the match.

The achillises lock is when you hold the foot straight and put pressure on the achilles (just above the heel)
