But what I do know is that verse that you mention, when you use the Arabic not the English, the word is idribuhanna from the root word Dha Ra Ba. Everywhere else this word is used in the quran, it refers to avoid, or leave, or go away. The translator decided to use the word hit for his own gain. Before I embrace, I will learn arabic fully not to rely on translations.
