You're right it's not cel shading. They just take the 3d models and paint them in Photoshop so it LOOKS like it's cel shaded, but then they can call it something else. What happened to the characters, they went from models that looked like they would be packing guns, to models that look like something you would see working at Hot Topic. It's a fun game, but I don't think it looks better with "stylistically painted textures with a black outline rendered around objects",or faux cel shading.

The characters all got anorexic and lanky and the guns look like something from Who Framed Rodger Rabbit. yeah i know what you're talkin about. i have the same probs on the 360. i was watching the video review from IGN and they said that there were some framerate issues with the console versions. the load times are fine with me.
but i guess the good news is that the game's pubs are considering slapping out a fixer-update later on, on XBLA and PSN if they receive more complaints.

Borderlands was orignally going to have a much sharper look but instead the team decided to give it a more coloured comic book look. It fits in better with the whole idea and gamplay of Borderlands more than any other graphics. That's not to say they made the game, but Borderlands wouldn't play quite the same if it looked more like Call od Duty or something else like that...

i loved this game untill the very end, but in literaly 2 seconds this game went from a solid 10 to a 1. if u are thinking of buying this game just rent it trust me, u will save 50 dollars and still get the best gaming experience.
I encountered a weird glitch, about half way through I found out that you don't get to open the vault after killing the big epic boss and the lady who has been talking to you is just an AI in a satellite. Good game though.
lets say it does have bad graphics (it doesn't, but just go with it) What do you expect? they where pushing the envelope with this one. It has four player co-op and between 15-16 million guns! (yeah really it does) so I think that the graphics are the least of your worries.

its a Roleplaying Shooter ( RPS) it only Roleplays out in stats thats about it. it plays like a combination of halo and COD the graphics are supposed to be animated the game is built on comedy aswell. the loot is like diablo when it drops. loot by rareity is like WoW white, green, blue, purple, yellow it has up to 4P coop and 2P split screen. its not a bad game but its not an epic one either.

This game is definatly worthy of game of the year. Its not just the guns and gore, the entire set up with leveling and explring with quests is spot on. (wow, this seems like a comment someone would pay me to put.......)
Well, as far as I know it's definitely good. Whether it's a game of the year or not remains to be seen when the game has been released for about a month worldwide. :D

I've spent a grand total of like, over a day and a half on this game, going between Multiplayer and Single Player.
And I love it. There's a gadzillion guns, and so much you can do.
You'll frequently find that you're wasting time trying to earn these little ingame achievements for experience too.

lets say it does have bad graphics (it doesn't, but just go with it) What do you expect? they where pushing the envelope with this one. It has four player co-op and between 15-16 million guns! (yeah really it does) so I think that the graphics are the least of your worries.

Who cares if the graphics are good or not. I buy my game for how fun it is, not on the graphics, and besides its comedy game so its not going to have good graphics for a reason.

its a Roleplaying Shooter ( RPS) it only Roleplays out in stats thats about it. it plays like a combination of halo and COD the graphics are supposed to be animated the game is built on comedy aswell. the loot is like diablo when it drops. loot by rareity is like WoW white, green, blue, purple, yellow it has up to 4P coop and 2P split screen. its not a bad game but its not an epic one either.

This is just my opionion but I think that the graphics are not the best they could be BUT when you look at Brutal Legend those graphics Arnt that good but the game is still good Just my opionion no need to start any shit about it

This game is definatly worthy of game of the year. Its not just the guns and gore, the entire set up with leveling and explring with quests is spot on. (wow, this seems like a comment someone would pay me to put.......)
