  • I have tried this out and now I can be flexible on either sides. Great!

  • just the drill I needed

  • Just breath every 3 to 5 strokes instead of every 2 strokes.

When breathing every 2 strokes you breath the same side over and over.

Interupting your stroke pace and losing stability in the water.

Breathing every 3 to 5 strokes improves your stability. Gives less water resitance and gets you a stable and fast stroke pace.

On top it gives you the advantage of being able to see your adversaries in competition both on your left and right.

  • @sve20m This is meant for those people who are learning how to breathe on both sides. There are a lot of swimmers who only breathe to one side and this is meant to get them thinking. Being able to breathe to both sides is an advantage, but not the end all in swimming. Thanks for the post.

  • @goswim098 Hey go swim, I just have 1 question for you, Sometimes I have this pinching pain in one of my shoulders when I swim, and sometimes I can't pull at all forcing me to massage my shoulder. My body rotates equally, and My body doesn't drop when I breathe to either sides ( no loping) My rotation consists of Stretching my arm as far as possible forcing my body to move on it's side as I continue swimming. Like wings on a rod.

  • @goswim098 what can I do to avoid this kind of pain?

  • @sve20m im doing a life guard course, and the instructor doesnt expect me to breath every stroke or bio lateral breathing, as he want my head out of water as im swimming free style, front crawl

  • nice
