Nice performance, but what a pity it suffers from the same destructive treatment by automatic level control on the sound track that mars so many of the organ videos on YouTube.

@puck401 A pneumatical organ has delay, but not as much as you can see on this video. The organ in the St. Laurens Church is a mechanical organ and in this case you get sound at the same time you press the key. The man or woman who made this video has made a mistake trying to get the sound and the pictures sync.
All written by the composer this piece (which is just the second movement of a larger work) has 2 (yes, two) parts. All the rest is the work of an arranger.
@MEPPO06 Yes, you have right. It does not sound like the trumpet voluntary Stanley had in mind. It is an arrangement, but in my opinion a good one, and very well played by this organist. When he had played only the two parts on such a big organ it had probably made less impression on the listeners.
Those are the spanish trumpets called chamade. 8 ranks divided in bas and diskant. They are placed horizontaly in the organ prospect. When you look carefully in the film you can see them

One of the best versions of this piece I have heard. Absolutely fantastic playing.

In this way played this piece sounds very well. It is a pity that the sound and the video-pictures are not synchronous.

1) are those organs shoes he's wearing?
2) whats the stops he's using it sounds like a trumpet but it has a weird screechy sound like a bagpipe almost..
