  • Hi Sam, what cam did you use to record this? Thanks in advance, Jeremy.

  • what do you mean by zero degree or 5 degree position?

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin had to retire from WWF because of this I believe.

  • @D4rkStealth I'm 17 and in December of last year I bulged a disc during a wrestling tournament. When I finally went and got it checked out they said I could no longer play Football and Wrestling. If you want to I say go for it, you've had stenosis all your life. However, you now know you are more prone to a larger problem which i can tell you sucks. Good luck!

  • What about cervical stenosis which is what i have? Is there anything i can do about it?

  • Respond to this video...

  • Hi im 16 and i have been diagnosed with this. The problem is i love playing rugby and i have been for more than 8 years. I had a bad head hit and they were looking for a fracture and they came across this they say i should not play rugby agen. Is there a way to keep playing?

  • im 18 and i was just diagnosed with this...

  • @Plzpetmyrooster

you serious? can we communicate here? i am 34 and I have degenerative disease, stenosis, herniation and sciatic nerve compression are some of the gifts I got

  • @damnitboyzz arent these gifts awsome... no im kidding

it just sucks because i cant do half the things that i loved to do anymore

  • Thank you, that was a great explanation. The model spine helped greatly for visualization.

Any 'doctors' out there, take a damn hint.

  • Want to be taken seriously? Lose the ball cap.

  • I'm 15 and I think I have spinal stenosis.

  • @karenrobertstalyor and Steve Austin

  • THAT'S WHAT EDGE GOT

  • is it possible for me to get disability. I have never worked and am suffering from spinal stenosis at the age of 20. What can I do to fix this. Will yoga help thanks Holistic.

  • I have this! And bulging discs. My pain doc blew me off and said i should not experience any problems! I think insurence influences the treatment. I exersized for a year. it did not help! Made it worse!

  • I thought spinal stenosis was where the bone grew around the spinal cord inside the vertebra, and squeezed the spinal cord itself.

Really awesome blog, I'll definitely be subscribing. I've been dealing with back pain all my life and it just seems to get worse and worse. My main problem is spinal stenosis, Scheuermann's Kyphosis, and herniated disks.

  • Good explanation for foraminal stenosis, but you don't mention anything about central canal stenosis. Disc height doens't increase either because you drink more water, although it's still a good idea to remain hyrdated. The disc receives it's nutrients through a process called imbibition. Exercise and chiropractic is the best for spinal hygeine and the only way to promote imbibition. This still won't rehydrate a degenerated disc though. The idea here is prevention.

  • @gtube22 ,

Agreed. Decompression therapy is useful here as well. Outside of that, muscular balance and stabilization is the majority of the focus in these cases.

  • I agree, spinal decompression can help with foraminal or lateral recess stenosis, but I really don't think it would do much for central canal stenosis. Another conservative therapy that may help is Bioflex low intensity laser therapy.

  • @HolisticSam I developed a formula for arthritis using pentosan sulphate and glucosamine. it was used for osteoarthritis in knees and hips. One patient that had also had back pain from stenosis for 20 years used the formula for his knees. Initially,i was urprised to hear his back pain went away. But when you consider that the formula stimulates new cartilage growth,it makes sense that would lift the vertebrae up off the nerve, relieving the pain. Of course this would not help with osteophytes.

  • @gtube22

There are several folks that can help with stenosis, PTs, Chiros are among the better ones out there.

  • @gtube22

Most Chiropractic care is unscientific quackery and a scam.

  • hello. I am only 15, but my back has been hurting, possibly from stepping in a ditch, causing major back pain for a day. Do you have any idea what this possibly could be? Thank you. P.S.- It still hurts in my lower back when i stand for extended periods of time, or after carrying my heavy book bag to school.

  • go to a chiropractor, there are a lot of chiropractors in america but remember go to a chiropractor with the titles DACNB those are the specialists among the ciropractors and have a lot of experience. by the way medical doctors cant help you with back pain in 90 percent of the time cause it can get worse if the put a knife in your spine

  • @Mertt03

what does DACNB stand for ?

  • @AnatomicalALIGNMENT

it stands for : Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.

These are the specialists among the chiropractors. Those who dont have these title dont have the experience and the knowledge who are just scam like you said below.

  • @Mertt03

Thanks, ive never heard of that .

Ive been to Numerous Chiropractors over the years for my condition and ive never gotten any Pain relief from any of them . From learning alot more researching and learning about Human Anatomy and how the body works, i realize most of the treatments Chiros did on me Lacked any Logical basis or common Sense. They were clueless fools with No understanding of how the body work

  • Thanks

  • I don't understand the degree of pelvic tilt. And I don't understand how to get the pelvis in a neutral or correct position. I am a female.
