In the 2006 war hezbollah destroyed 60 merkava tanks and not only a dozen or 18 tanks!! Also hezbollah managed to destroy army command posts in northern israel and bombard military bases and installations inside israel. In the next war Hezbollah is planning to send waves of fighters inside israeli territory and occupy lands in northern israel from which they will send even more fighters to central israel and send rockets to strategic targets and completely destroy them. Israel will be doomed !

@TheShalomyo well first of all shalomyo...u need to understand the IDF better than this ...the IDF need more courage not intellegence to win this war ..or why do u think 4000 fighters could win over 100000 ? the IDF are cowards ..if u notice that all the wounded soldiers in 2006 war they are hit in the back which means that they ..were runnung away frm the battle feild ..and ur goverment lies ..they said that hezbollah is nt gonna fire rockets anymore and then wat ? more rockets are fired..lies.

most of IDF was rushed into lebanon without warning while hez started the war and was prepared from day 1 but never the less the IDF did inflict heavy damage on them on the ground

u have to keep this in mind ..war is goals the one who reaches his goals then can consider his self a winner ..isreal goals was to go 20 km deep in lebanon and make this area as a safe area with them in order to prevent hezbollah frm firing rockets frm this area...this goal obviously was not accomplished ..second goal was to eliminate hezbollah frm south lebanon ..obviously not accomplished ...look even the village Aita l sha3eb which is just next to the border in 33 days war was nt taken ..

hezbollah achieved its political goals but on the battelfield it wasnt spectacular they retreated from bint jabil not matter what you say and hez just couldnt hold their key positions for a long time

and again hez is not a conventional army, its a guerilla force that hides and then ambushes and runs away thats why f16 doesnt do alot specially without much intelligence firsthand

dnt stick to the info u got becoz they r false i agree with u ..about the tactics that hez use in battlefeilds ..but i dnt agree that this war was not planned ..first evidence ..is that in the first day of war ..isreal destroyed all the bridges all of south-beirut ...they had a bank of goals ..second look at all the newspaper they wrote that this war was planned for but isreal lost the surprising thing which would help them alot ..anws they ddnt reach bint -jbeil they enterd but they couldnt

the war wasnt planned for by the IDF and its kinda obvious that the first target in lebanon would be enemy infrastructure such as bridges, practically every war begins with infrastructure bieng destroyed

while hezbollah was the one who initiated the war and planned it carefully, your forgetting who provoked the war in the 1st place

and u are using al manar as ur source because the idf did cross through wadi saluki and i know you believe that 1000 tanks were destroyed but in reality its was 1 mk 3 and 1mk 4 and a few more tanks were hit but repaired later on ayta ash-shab wasnt even completed due to the early cease fire,

the whole war was sudden for the IDF specially when you see how planned out the provocation was

in the whole war there are about 18 destroyed tanks, with others being hit but not destroyed
