and if he was getting food doesnt that mean he was off duty? (like on lunch) unless our tax dollars give them paid lunches too! In that case why would he need to respond to an emergency?
Then go to a place that does drive thru stupid fucking pigs. i hope next time they park by a fire hydrant and the fire dpt smashes his car. And the assistant chief of police is another dumb ass. stupidity starts from the top i guess
There's something seriously wrong when a cop can get away with breaking a law that would send the avg citizen to pay fines & possible serve jail time. Cops should not be allowed to break the "little laws" b/c it will only feed into their breaking larger ones. Then what good are they going to be at their job PAID FOR BY THE TAXPAYERS? None at all. They will become dirty cops on the take & to hell w/the law b/c they'll be above the law & nobody should be above the law - not even cops!
If they're allowed to break the supposed "little laws," how long will it take before it's okay for them to break even bigger laws such as taking pay-offs/brides, turning a blind eye to crimes taken place, allowing inebriated drivers to return to their vehicles & drive away? Where does it stop? That's the whole thing in a nutshell & the truth is - it doesn't. It keeps growing until cops will be able to do anything w/o fear of consequences we'd face in a courtroom w/fines & possible jail time.
Well if I don't choose a "legal" parking spot I get a ticket, why does this asshole think he's special? Fuck him, make his ass pay a fine for once in his life!
When you need help and the closest police officer is on lunch getting food, do you want him to have to go 2 blocks to his parked car on foot before he starts heading your way or do you want him to get in his car that is parked 10 feet from the entrance? That precious time can mean the difference between your life and death. Those "no parking zones" are off limit to the public for a reason...so emergency personell can park there!
Anyone who "disagrees" with that is a FUCKING MORON.
im glad the ticket was sucessful. imagine the cheif of police advising his officers to violate the law! how can they expect all the other citizens to follow small rules if they cant?
Doesn't matter. If they are allowed to park illegally, they will eventually do more and more stuff illegally and then what? And if you think about it, cops are supposed to be in shape... so if they had to respond to a call, don't you think they could leave their dougnuts behind and run to their car?
wow some of you don't get it...funny part is those of you who are defending the officer, are the first to cry when it you who get's a ticket for something you didn't get away with ...sorry people but just could read anymore of your rhetoric.
that attorney was young just wanted to make a reputation for himself that attorney was very arrogant and should be disbarred that cop risks his life to save the lawyers life and that arrogant lawyer was being stupid
@HPhenomenal Calling cops pigs is a disgrace for pigs. Pigs are peaceful. Cops beat on whoever they feel like. Pigs mind their own business. Cops do not. Pigs don't freak out when you film them. Cops do.
this is right out of Animal farm ALL ANIMALS ARE CREATED EQUAL BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS. We've even got the chickens clucking their rehearsed lines about giving the enforcers a pass to break the law because its for your safety. How many people are robbed, murdered,or raped every day? And what, the cops couldn't make it there to protect them because they had to park legally. Fuckin gullible morons. have the COMMONSENSE TO BE A PREPARED CITIZEN and protect yourself. cops can't
This lawyer is an idiot. The reason police officers park near the entrance is so that they can respond to a call as quickly as possible. This idiot lawyer wouldn't mind him parking there if the officer had to come save his ass!
@ThePreparedCitizen I can solve this problem. From now on the cop can pack his own lunch. Now there are no worries about breaking the law, he gets to eat, and he's already in his car for an emergency. If he wants a hot lunch then he can wait for a legal parking space.
@hipreshur2 I can solve one of your problems too, next time you need someone to save your ass when you are in a bad traffic crash, or a homeless crack head is stabbing you for the 50 cents in your pocket, you can call one of the guys on youtube to come save you. I am sure they will risk their life to protect yours.
@ThePreparedCitizen 1st off all thinking a policeman or anyone else for that matter would be around to save your ass at the precise 30 to 90 seconds it takes a crack head to stab and rob you is just crazy. Even if the person that finds you slumped over and bleeding calls 911 and the cops arrive what can they do? You need an ambulance. If you survive they can investigate that's all. Car crash? Same scenario you need medical attention not a cop. Small chance of prevention parked legal or not
@ThePreparedCitizen it was clearly stated that he Is allowed to park there if he is responding to an emergency and If he could not find a reasonable parking space then he should have just chosen a different restaurant where he could find a space.
THe ass-sistant C.O.P. (Criminal On Patrol) IS A FUKING LIAR! Plus he has this creepy smile. THe police are not above the law! THey ARE NOT THE LAW!
THey don't enforce the laws, they can't help you, they can't keep you from harm, they can't stop crime!, They can't keep you safe, THey Do not protect you the people, They protect and serve their MASTERS; The banks and the courts only!
They(C.O.P.s) are the bankers PINKERTONS! THUGS with badges and guns, nothing more evil than that!
Law enforcement should have to park legaly too. If they don't lik it too bad. Everyone else has to park legaly, there's no reason they shouldn't have to also.
the cop was wrong for parking like that, and the cop in the video was wrong for giving notion that he believed cops should be abke to park wherever, but cops are always gonna do things just like citizens break the law....so.....the way i see it.....i would have just let it go.....some people get fed up with cops....
" parking far away that takes time is unreasonable" Well tough shit, I get 30 minutes for lunch too, does that mean I can just drive into the restaurant lobby and park it there?
I like how that cop did the 2 finger quotation thing when he said "legal parking spot". Fucking pigs sure didn't use finger quotations when they arrested me for things that weren't "legal".
it's unreasonable to turn old women into criminals...and ur neighbors....you bald idiot...
Btw, Police dork, legal and lawful are 2 diff things...you know that, but defraud the public by making public ppl, follow your "legal" laws, while saying they don' apply to you.
Can anyone say "hypocrite"?
Next time a grown up in a silly costume, kidnaps you(even though you've hurt nobody?" File a complaint on Human Right's violations. They break a treaty with the UN(that they agreed to uphold)
OK, I understand that they must stay near their car... That is fair. However, why should he be able to do that, especially when he is picking up dinner for his family WHILE ON DUTY?
I hope an officer is eating lunch and parked LEGALLY a good five minutes walk away. Then you dipshits have an emergency and the officer is delayed an extra five minutes from you cry baby bitches. IS this seriously what you people are concerned about? Jesus christ, shut up.
@commonsenseisgone1 won't matter, they will still be late fuck tards like they always are, have to say there is a gun to get any response. Pfft. 911 is a joke.
Law enforcement believes that they are above the law. This is true at every level of law enforcement. Ever see cops put on their lights to get through traffic quickly and then turn them off when they get through? I have, and it's wrong.
@commonsenseisgone1 Been there, done that. Regardless, what does that have to do with this cop did? Here's some advice: change your name because you're clueless.
OK. In this case, I agree with the police. They do need to stay close to their vehicles. What they should get tickets for however is turning on their lights to run a red light and then just turning them off - an obvious violation of the law.
he did notthing wrong??? there are wayyys of him eating.. like having his lunch done by his fucking wife.. or going to another place... drive thru... but no.. the pig wanted to eat there.. right? HE HAD TO EAT THERE HUH?? he broke the law... simple as that..
@baalyezidi Completely agree. He also pretty much sums up the public opinion in the end. It's unreasonable for me to park in a parking garage 3 blocks away (New York/Atlanta) just to go to pick up my lunch order on a 30 minute lunch when there are a million places to park (albeit illegally) on the streets. The truth is, those spots are illegal for an effing reason and those statues apply to cops as well. Or else the law would have such a clause and it doesn't! Pay the damn ticket!
so fuckin what!! we should be far a away from our cars when we have an emergency?? why not just make it a law that all restaurants have to serve cops in there cars?? Or better yet have the govt fund the transplantation of every officers skin to one that contains chlorophyll, photosynthesis, produce glucose, and be autotrophs......then they won't every have to find a parking spot again!!!!
What a dickhead police captain or whoever was in this interview. Asking a police officer to be lawfull is unreasonable? Putting legal is air quotes? How about you find somewhere else to eat? Did you ever give them that training????
Here is a perfect example of citizens abusing the law with excess point making. We have real time abuse such as excessive force or illegal searches and you have the gall to enforce a parking violation on this cop. Then you probably bitch when you get a parking ticket for the same thing. Is the cop legally wrong? Yes! Is this a pissing contest? Yes! Great job citizen, you should get the key to the city because you really proved a point.
I hope all the people who think cops have to find "legal" parking, (that may leave the officer several city blocks away from his squad car) don't also complain when they have to call 911 and then turn around and say the cops didn't get there fast enough. Like when a thug attacks you one the street or a parolee breaks into your house for example. hmmm. lets just think about that for a moment.
so if the fatass lazy cop parks in a handicapped spot and someone whose handicapped comes in, then they just gotta park somewhere else because the cop is better and can do what the fuck he wants? fuck that. the cops need to learn some fucking respect. just because they have that little metal star doesnt make them any better than anybody else

He needs to pay the ticket, if the shoe were on the other foot that man would have to pay his ticket. THEY ARE NOT SUBJECTED FROM THE LAW, THEY HAVE TO ABIDE BY THE SAME LAW ALSO.
They tried to look for a parking space, but it is just unreasonable to spend the time looking for one. If I would say that to a cop, I would get twice the ticket.
LOLOL--have to stay "near their cars">?? What a joke! So what do bike-cops do? Or how bout cops on foot? When dispatch puts call out, it's out to ALL--not just officers "in cars." Whatever officer is closest takes call. "Asking an officer to spend an inordinate amount of time" doing it legal is just too much for the Oregon police to take-boohoo-just another incident where cops get unfairly well-treated (and un-ticketed) for something we'd get nailed for!
that pig is retarded......they are to enforce the law......they are NOT above the law, so why should they allow to break the law when ordering lunch??
no no no. I am a former cop, USAF SP, cops have to follow the laws too. plain and simple, if we dont follow the laws we enforce we lose our credibility, and are constitutionally unfit to enforce laws. a police officer's conduct is to be above reproach at all times period.
The cop got tired of looking for a parking spot and thought "Screw it, I'm a cop" the Asst. Chief isn't going to give me a ticket for doing this. Then his Asst Chief says, "asking a COP to spend an inordinant amount of time/go out of his way to find a LEGAL parking space/be lawful/ is "unreasonable"? Unreasonable is letting this Asst Chief spend any more time running the police force. What a crock of shit.
In any state I've ever lived in according to state labor laws you are entitled to lunches off the clock. So if he took lunch while on the clock he is guilty of milking the clock and wasting our tax dollars and if the police department doesn't give him a lunch period than they are guilty of Labor Laws not giving employees off the clock breaks. If the officer looked for parking as he states than he knows he needs to park legally.
Cops do not stop crimes, they file a citation or do an investigation after the fact. The only time they stop a crime from happening is if they get lucky.
so instead of running in and grabbing food real quick and parking in a illegal spot for 3 min. he parks down the street and is out of service for 20min. now when some guy beats the shit out of you and steal ur wallet and hes the closest officer to respond he has to take the 5 min to get to his car now and takes that much longer to get there, the guy gets away with your wallet. then your saying wtf jeeze took you long enough.. "sorry sir i had to park 3 blocks down to get my take out " jackasss
@MrDevenob Just because a cop is on duty doesn't give him or her the right to cut to the front of the line, their position of power is a responsibility not a privilege! If time and being close to your vehicle is so important to the police they probably should pack a sack lunch.
The citizen turned out to be an attorney! Which means the cop losses automatically! The badge wouldn't have done him any good. LOL! I agree all cops should obey the law like everyone else. Lead by example!
If there was no parking place the cop should have went somewhere else to eat, THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE IN EVERY CITY STATE COUNTY, The citizen are tired of these cops breaking the laws and getting away with it, cause they think who is goiing to give me a ticket for it? ? And the police chief saying that the officer didnt know the laws! ! Come on now we arent stupid and born yesterday, the cop should know the laws that is part of his knowing and also common sense!! THIS VIDEO MADE MY DAY ! ! ! !
A legal parking space? so the cop who is the symbol of justice and helps prevent crimes can do something illegal but we cant? how dumb i swear cops just get to out of hand. People in America need to step up and show that the people of the United states have power. These are the times i wished we had another M.L.K.
I like how the assistant chief says "legal parking space"... man were all busy and in a rush. just cause you are a cop doesnt mean you get to bend the laws, even just a little bit. police should be the ones setting the example and not just doing whatever they want because they are a cop and they might need to go back to their car. like the lawyer said. he should have found another place or stayed in his car and called the order in.
if you need to respond quickly and need available open space to peel threw red lights, why dont you just REVERSE INTO A SPOT! DUMB ASSES! "if the law is the LAW, and no one is above it" ~>that includes you too! i see cops do stupid shit like this all day, put on their lights to excuse themselves from red lights, dont stop at stop signs, park illegally. and they still dont even know citizens rights
What the hell are they doing eating out at fancy restaurants ...on my dime? They just use their cop car and act like they own the town- F-----G nazi's. To the guy who likes boobs- why don't you sling 2 5-10 lb weights over your shoulders and see how much you like them then- sleep like that too.
What the hell are they doing eating out at fancy restaurants ...on my dime? They just use their cop car and act like they own the town- F-----G nazi's.
How does a police officer not know the law, xD wow someone needs to be fired! And no offense but that guy broke the law how is that not unreasonable, if it were a cop giving someone a ticket for that would he be saying the same thing, I think not!
Even though the officer is on a lunch break, they still have to be able to respond to any call that may come in. When you are getting mugged and beaten, I am sure you will want the police to show up as quickly as humanly possible,,,
UPDATE: Officer Stensgaard first received from Bryant in March 2008 for parking his cruiser in a no-parking zone outside a Northwest 21st Avenue sushi restaurant to order take-out. Stensgaard argued that he needed his car nearby in case he was called out, and that most of the restaurants with parking lots sold foods he didn't like.
Traffic Court Judge Terry Hannon said Stensgaard violated the letter of the law and fined him $35.
That cop in the video is full of shit. It doesn't matter if the accused officer needs to be close to their car, don't we all want that? All this video shows is that the police do not abide the law when something isn't convenient, like a stupid parking spot. Yes the spot may be farther away, deal with it. We all have to deal that sometime.
I was on a ride along with a police officer one night and it was time for dinner. She was going to meet up with another officer for dinner. On the way there she was doing 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. I said to her ... " Now if I was doing 50 in a 35 zone you would probably give me a ticket wouldn't you?" and she said "Probably" Now how can you in good faith give someone a ticket for something that you are doing yourself?
Fuck that Bald ass cop unreasonable he's on lunch break who cares if he ahs to find a parking spot this is what america is crying out for when they say cops take it too serious and THINK their above everyone else. I think cops should have to be all gay or not a dutche so that their at least nice and not fucking stuck up wearing their badge as a crown!
that police chief needs to be fired, in this instance, he should not admit that the cop did nothing wrong. if breaking the law is nothing wrong, then whats the point of the cop
What happens if I on Duty @ work.... I have 1 hr to eat and get back... do I get to park there? My wife is pregnant so for emergancy purposes I need to stay close to my vehicle..... WRONG!
Whatever happened to setting a good example. Is that "option" now a thing of the past in the NWO. The "options list" is getting to the point of abuse , where law enforcement will only be responding to things after the fact. Just like government , whether they knew about it or not.
Naturally, cops are never wrong. Fuck you. I'm in a wheelchair and if there is no parking space close, i wait, i park further or i change restaurant..
So for the cop to be close in case of something, This is just bla bla bla. They must obey the same laws. So police your way out please. Idiots
@NordicBlood84 agreed, if he thinks it is unreasonable he needs to tell his officers that they need to pack a lunch and never leave their vehicle, police aren't lawyers, half of them do not know the laws
@Commiefornia in fact, i would go so far as to say police officers are absolutely obligated to follow the legal codes, while the average citizen is not, its just they they must be willing to recieve the punishment.
Asst. Chief B. Martinek, has a bit of an attitude problem. Arrogance, and misplaced pride. They are pitiful, each and everyone of them. They will justify anything that their unionized thugs will do. Sounds more like the mob to me!
Let's say, for example, that the lawyer wasn't at that restaurant. Let's also say that the lawyer called 911, and the closest officer was the one in the restaurant. Would the lawyer want him parking 10 minutes away from the restaurant or would he want the officer parking a few steps away? Officers don't have lunch breaks. They eat when they have the time, and the officer would have had to end his lunch to respond to a call. I think it's reasonable to permit parking in a loading zone.
@chriserwalk4386 "Let's say" Cannot be used to justify this cops clear breaking of the law that he is to uphold. He shoulda just parked farther away to get his food but he didn't he was lazy. A major part of a police officer or any other civil servants role is to also lead by example for public good. I have cops in my family and am friends with a prosecutor and they are all aware of this fact and acknowledge it.
My grandma used to tell me " Whats good for the goose is good for the gander" I was always confused about that. This just shows cops got to follow laws to, Their not above it.protecting us or not, Clock out for lunch, Park car LEGALLY, and then, go get lunch. He should pay the ticket. Not getting superior to make excuses for him.
hypothetically he is in a hurry to get some food, eat and return to protecting your sorry asses. or he could drive for hours until the end of his shift. how is that? then the frustrated citizens would complain that the police came too late to the scene.
Any Cop that would defend violating the law for their own selfish benefit deserves to be fired immediately and ALL POLICE authority stripped from them for life! PERIOD! Police should be given the same leeway any citizen would get in the same situation... LADY JUSTICE IS WEARING A BLINDFOLD FOR A REASON!
okay one more time... you or a loved one is 1 dying 2 being beaten robbed in danger 3 your house is on fire. If the cop has to run down the street to get to his car, time would be wasted and there is a very good chance you will be dead, or the chances of ever catching that particular robber will be 100% gone. think of THAT next time... PLEASE
@jojmr27 Hey, Dumbass. Cops don't stop crimes, they (1) show up later to write up a report. And (2) harrass motorist to genarate revenue in order to support thier existance without producing any goods or needed services like everyone in the private sector has to do everyday.
Fuck that I park my shit where I want emergency or not like the chief said I'm not gonna run around the corner to get my car if my fellow officer needs help
ok, so police should park properly, have proper tea/lunch breaks etc etc....next time you need the police in an emergency....hope you'll be prepared to wait!
hmm if a driver is wasting time driving around looking for a spot and he gets a call, he's already in his car, second, saying that him walking 50-100 feet to his car is cutting down on response time, well same thing could be said about paying and standing in line, it takes x seconds to pull money out and make change, so by the officers logic, police shouldnt have to pay or wait in line like everyone else because its a "hazard" to the community lol what BS
Come on, people! If they're getting out of their cars they need to park them to where they can get to them as quickly as possible. What citizen is going to need to do that...exactly.
@GenMussolini I can think of many situations (with little effort) where a citizen would need to be close to their car (legit serious reasons). Even if they put a large note in their window telling why they are breaking the law they would still get a ticket and this same captain would change his story and be telling why everyone must obey the law. This same cop could have miscounted his change, demanded another $10 (carrying a gun), assaulted the cashier and not get criminally charged!
@mrsparex Well put. They'll use all of it against you. If he gets away with parking anywhere, then anyone should get away with it. Park there, get a ticket, then tell the judge, it must be ok if cops do it. After all cops are supposed to uphold the law, Their word in court equals two people's word when in lidigation. Aren't they supposed to lead by example? Well next time I'm needing dougnuts, I'm gunna park in the yellow zone too. after all when ya need a dougnut, that's pretty ergent
Respond to this video... emergency? Oh? if a cop is a half mile away, and someone is robbing you in your home, what's gunna save you?? The cop?? or your gun?? do the math.. That's easy. The last emergency I remember a cop coming to, took them about 15 minutes. The criminal could be done and gone by then. My God, they won't even come investigate most burgleries anymore. But you sure can see 4 or 5 cops on one car if someones getting a simple duii. Sad, but so true.
@james3000gt Your would be a present help in a robbery (not a cop...I agree). The "law" can't make money investigating your robbery but they can make money nit picking your driving & parking etc. while your on your way to work. I hear many decades ago the law protected us and was here to serve? Now most people abhor the sight of revenue collecting patrols. Most agree with you but the boot lickers will not. They gladly give their money and give up their rights to a badge.
Parked Illegally AND eating on the job. Notice how the public relations officer has a shit eating grin on his face the entire time. What a bunch of scum bags.
@cornishrob123 Sure, as soon as they allow us to do minor things that do not interfere with others' rights. But in truth, this is a land where rule of law matters. Should we have a special class of people who don't have the follow the laws because they don't feel like it? I can come up with very compelling arguments about why certain laws shouldn't apply to me; does that mean that I should feel free to break them?
I deliver prescription medication, and I'm told to stay close to my vehicle and punctuality is very important, so can I parked illegally because of those reasons? Probably not. Everybody needs to be held accountable, even the law.
it's a yellow zone not a white zone or red zone. the yellow zone is for unloading and loading, it's not a white zone or a red zone. either way your fucked. if it says no parking, then don't park there.
I have no love for cops, but let's choose our battles. Of all of the things that you see cops do that abuse their power, I have to say this is probably at the bottom of the list of concerns.
The problem is that old mate probably doesn't have any legitimate authority to issue an infringement notice in the first place. It's a great idea and I'd love to see him succeed, but there probably isn't anything that would give him that power.
and if he was getting food doesnt that mean he was off duty? (like on lunch) unless our tax dollars give them paid lunches too! In that case why would he need to respond to an emergency?

@ThePreparedCitizen 1st off all thinking a policeman or anyone else for that matter would be around to save your ass at the precise 30 to 90 seconds it takes a crack head to stab and rob you is just crazy. Even if the person that finds you slumped over and bleeding calls 911 and the cops arrive what can they do? You need an ambulance. If you survive they can investigate that's all. Car crash? Same scenario you need medical attention not a cop. Small chance of prevention parked legal or not
hipreshur2 2 months ago
@ThePreparedCitizen it was clearly stated that he Is allowed to park there if he is responding to an emergency and If he could not find a reasonable parking space then he should have just chosen a different restaurant where he could find a space.

OK. In this case, I agree with the police. They do need to stay close to their vehicles. What they should get tickets for however is turning on their lights to run a red light and then just turning them off - an obvious violation of the law.

baalyezidi 4 months ago

Here is a perfect example of citizens abusing the law with excess point making. We have real time abuse such as excessive force or illegal searches and you have the gall to enforce a parking violation on this cop. Then you probably bitch when you get a parking ticket for the same thing. Is the cop legally wrong? Yes! Is this a pissing contest? Yes! Great job citizen, you should get the key to the city because you really proved a point.

We all have to deal that sometime.

I think it's reasonable to permit parking in a loading zone.

hmm if a driver is wasting time driving around looking for a spot and he gets a call, he's already in his car, second, saying that him walking 50-100 feet to his car is cutting down on response time, well same thing could be said about paying and standing in line, it takes x seconds to pull money out and make change, so by the officers logic, police shouldnt have to pay or wait in line like everyone else because its a "hazard" to the community lol what BS
Dangler21 6 months ago
Come on, people! If they're getting out of their cars they need to park them to where they can get to them as quickly as possible. What citizen is going to need to do that...exactly.
GenMussolini 6 months ago
@GenMussolini I can think of many situations (with little effort) where a citizen would need to be close to their car (legit serious reasons). Even if they put a large note in their window telling why they are breaking the law they would still get a ticket and this same captain would change his story and be telling why everyone must obey the law. This same cop could have miscounted his change, demanded another $10 (carrying a gun), assaulted the cashier and not get criminally charged!
mrsparex 6 months ago
@mrsparex Well put. They'll use all of it against you. If he gets away with parking anywhere, then anyone should get away with it. Park there, get a ticket, then tell the judge, it must be ok if cops do it. After all cops are supposed to uphold the law, Their word in court equals two people's word when in lidigation. Aren't they supposed to lead by example? Well next time I'm needing dougnuts, I'm gunna park in the yellow zone too. after all when ya need a dougnut, that's pretty ergent
james3000gt 6 months ago
Respond to this video... emergency? Oh? if a cop is a half mile away, and someone is robbing you in your home, what's gunna save you?? The cop?? or your gun?? do the math.. That's easy. The last emergency I remember a cop coming to, took them about 15 minutes. The criminal could be done and gone by then. My God, they won't even come investigate most burgleries anymore. But you sure can see 4 or 5 cops on one car if someones getting a simple duii. Sad, but so true.
james3000gt 6 months ago
@james3000gt Your would be a present help in a robbery (not a cop...I agree). The "law" can't make money investigating your robbery but they can make money nit picking your driving & parking etc. while your on your way to work. I hear many decades ago the law protected us and was here to serve? Now most people abhor the sight of revenue collecting patrols. Most agree with you but the boot lickers will not. They gladly give their money and give up their rights to a badge.

@MrCoal11:Bosox: The red zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the white zone.
MrCoal: No, the white zone is for loading of passengers & there is no stopping in a RED zone.
Bosox: The red zone has always been for loading and unloading of passengers. There's never stopping in a white zone.
MrCoal: Don't you tell me which zone is for loading, and which zone is for stopping!
Bosox: Listen Buddy, don't start up with your white zone shit again!

I have no love for cops, but let's choose our battles. Of all of the things that you see cops do that abuse their power, I have to say this is probably at the bottom of the list of concerns.

Here's what the officer said, deciphered; "Asking a police officer to obey the law is unreasonable."

The problem is that old mate probably doesn't have any legitimate authority to issue an infringement notice in the first place. It's a great idea and I'd love to see him succeed, but there probably isn't anything that would give him that power.
