MilPic I have a question to you. I was wonder weather but these boots or not for hiking. The problem is that they're not cheap that's one, the second problem is that they are ...hmm 6 inch high? The thing is that they cover your ankle. I sweat a lot in summer when the temperature is above 20 C. I want to know how do these boots do above 20 C. Do your feet sweat and you wish to change them for something lighter? Please let me know
@MilPic1 hey great video exellent explaination of the boots.. im looking at getting the Bates M9 assault boot what do you think i should get?? im thinking more ankle support tho
@MilPic1 thanks for replying, i live in Australia and need a good durabilitly boot with good ankle support. the boot that came to mind is the M9 desert assault... i will be using the boots for scenerio paintball and general work plus hiking
@LikeSleeve checked on the M9, i have the GX8 desert boots, love them, used them the last 4~5 years and even with the side zipper they offer very good ankle support so i guess you can`t be wrong with the M9

@Piotrek1985 don´t buy them then, buy a low cut shoe, Bates as well as Oakley offers plenty of choice, even 5.11 came out with a low cut boot

i like it ankle high but also have some "9 boots from various makers for outdoors training !check what fits your needs !!!
