Also know a guy who on his Rolex one of the numbers fell off and had to go back! Quality, I don't think so. If you look at the tech of omega they are out classing other manufacturers. One comment said buy tag or breitling well they use ETA movements the same as most
My first planet ocean did this after 6 weeks. I bought mine from jareds. The rep at the location closest to me (not an authorized dealer) didn't believe it, he convinced me it wasn't getting enough play.week later I went to the authorized dealer, they gave me a new watch and I am so relieved the movement works properly. Hopefully you can get this resolved. I imagine with tax you paid upwards of $3500, a lot of money for a watch to freeze at 40 sec.

Wow, an "Omega lemon"; don't see too many of those... I'd bitch. Considering the money paid for it I'd "scream like a mashed cat" until somebody over at Omega TRULY honored the warranty. I suddenly feel fortunate that my PO is running fine.
I have had mine for a while now without issue. I believe this movement far surpasses the movement in any Rolex. I have owned both. The PO is a true WIS watch!
Thats very odd.. You should perhaps bring it down to the place let them see the second hand for themselves.. I'm sure this is fixable... Cool looking watch though! I have the same one but with the rubber strap..
Yup, watch came back running normally now for a month. Abeit fast, but it was still acceptable by me. Omega fully honour their warantty, thou they wouldnt let me know which part they changed as im not eligible to know as the part were bore by Swatch Group itself. I'm just wondering is it still a COSC cert, as part been changed and case opened for service. Duh....
Very odd... my guess would be the forth wheel or the gear that drives the second hand is missing a tooth and thus, everytime it reaches that point in rotation, loses friction for just a second until forced forward by the rest of the train.
Almost doesn't sound possible, I know, but I can't think of anything else that could cause that.
