I'm only 18, but I grew up listening to NMH because of my dad, and Jeff's voice still gives me the chills to this day. NMH will be my favorite band forever and always. There's no one else like them. I wish he was still making music, but it's not like I could ever get sick of the old stuff.

I wish I could find the interview, but Mangum says that most of his songs were derived from dreams that he had. I think he says something along the lines of "I did as much drugs as the average high school kid" or something. I think it's just hard for people to imagine the fantasy like lyrics he creates without some form of altered consciousness. All I can say is dreams are powerful.

Faster allows the playing of more songs, telling of song histories, and heckler handling. Personally, I like it faster because the band gets into the song more. When they play faster, Barnes on drums looks like he's in a trance in some songs. It's awesome.
