im from Australia an i hate Vegemite,

never tasted vegemite, but i did try marmite once and if its even remotely the same, its a HORRIBLE taste.

Chris say"Its gonna be bad isn't". And they all lie by saying no. Vegemite is like the worse thing I have ever tried. I mean no offense to the Aussie's out there but that stuff is definitly not like our peanut butter.

I grew up eating peanut butter, now as an adult I'm sick of it and can't even look at the stuff. I ordered some vegemite online and tried it and it was actually great! I could eat it all day except the shipping cost is a bit too much.

vegemite is a spread like jam or peanut butter that you normally eat on toast or bread or crackers. It's an Australian 'delicasy'. A yeast extract, it's very strong, normally people mix it with butter or margerine so it's weaker.

@laulaeee I'm from Aus and it's not a delicasy. It''s just like peanut butter or jam to us. I Don't know why everyone makes such a fuss about it.

thats the thing vegemite and marmite both taste horrible like that but on bread or toast with margerine or butter it tastes great
