You have to go to the playstation store and download the home wallpaper, apply as your XMB theme. Wait for few days and check your email to see if they messaged you if your invited.

The creater of the Home theme came out and said that you don't have to apply it as your theme you just had to download it.

HOME should be something to help out the "community" aspect that all these consoles are trying to go for, but in a more graphical and interactive way. sure wii has something and xbox has its online play...but home will be so much more and a game onto itself.
