Where was the heavy part? Speed looked good and there was no sign of the aircraft wanting to bounce on its main gear. Schweet as a nut - didn't even notice any crosswind effects.
@ChrizRockster Huh? you didn't notice anycrosswind effects? You can clearly see this in the video...The wind was that day : 010° / 27 to 35 knots, and the plane was landing on rwy 10, so there was a strong crosswind! You can see that the pilot is fighting with the wind and trying to land his plane as smooth as possible, but... he landed a little bit hard for an A330 here in Martinique.
27-35 knots is not a real crosswind, i've seen light twins landing in 40 knot winds! A steady crosswind is not as bad as a crosswind with high gusts. If a crosswind was 25 gusting 35, that would be mighty problem indeed.
Just saying its one of the most stable approaches i've seen. Considering the final oritentation of the aircraft, it wasn't crabbed much during approach.
what kind of airport is that? it looks like it is landing in the fields xD
awesome video though .... :D

@ChrizRockster If you look at the windsock you will see that it is totally crosswind

@jcbmartinique
Yep, can see the windsock is horizontal - pretty impressive approach!
