China should support it's own economic growth if china wants to be a big player they should support their own workers and provide them with the jobs where they will be make goods and services in china not for america.

Well, as I understand it - it was supposed to go to GE (you know, one of the top major investments congress has?). Unfortunately, GE (also one of the top 10 polluters in the US) products are garbage - they have simply taken stimulus monies and thumbed their noses to America. So if GE gets the contract - what then? All GE parts are made in China anyway. NOTHING is manufactured and built in the US. GE outsources most of it's workforce to China anyway.
Please people stop buying ANYTHING made in China or other countries. Shop for made in USA. The only way to bring jobs home is to create a demand for made in USA. It will take a while but it will be worth it in the long run. Where will we be in a few years if we don't demand jobs come home?
Just build everything in China, teach them everything we know so they will take over one day, then we will bring in more illegal aliens to work for slave salaries displacing American workers so we can all be miserable, broke and unemployed.

To the dismay of big labor, the House stimulus bill Made-In-America wording was dropped in the Senate. Thanks to Free Trade, Congress can no longer do what is best for our economy. The current language in the stimulus bill requires that the government spends funds in ways that do not violate U.S. trade agreements.
Obama, signed that bill into law and now Americans will pay for jobs in China.

@jiaoshou100 US companies do not receive financial subsidies from the Chineese government. In fact the opposite is true in that Chineese companies receive Chineese government subsidies to the competetive disadvantage of US companies doing business there.
