I didn't want duals. I just wanted to swap in a new muffler pretty much purely for the sound. At the time i had plans of doing major suspension work etc. and was just going to drop it off before the axle, but my interests went elsewhere.
Does any body know where to get the Aero Turbines without the resonators? I have looked everywhere and they all come with resonators, thanks for your help this was my last resort
Man, there are some ignorant people on here. I myself like Toyota, domestic cars are not shit though. Maybe my family is lucky but here is what we have.
1) 2005 F350 super duty with 140k never had major issues, just a bad sensor.
2) 2003 Ford Taurus never had issues, just gas and oil
3) 1991 GMC Sonoma, no mechanical issues, 140k
4) 1983 Dodge ram 250 van, 340k original motor still going.
5) 1987 Ford Thunderbird, with 240k still going strong.

still sounds like a ricer buy a American truck really they like last twice as long and hual twice as much and actually have a bed that i guess you could call a trunk probly maybe
American trucks suck, there's no way in hell they last longer. I know people who have blown up chevys in less than 3k miles. All my friends with duramaxs' are singing the blues cause every 20k miles the fuel injectors take a shit. ford transmissions take a shit every 50k miles. Support an american mechanic buy a shitty american truck. by the way tacomas are made in sacremento.
I downsized from my fullsize silverado to a smaller truck. I'm in college and all i needed was something to haul my dirtbikes around in. Unfortunatley, the domestic small "trucks" were a joke and my toyota would run circles around and colorado with that shit I-5 or a ranger.
im talking about full size not small trucks you buy a toyaota if you need a small truck i even i know that and there great for mudding too ranger s-10 and dakaota can go suck balls unless there hreatly modified with serious v8 and bigger axless. domestic small trucks suck ass is RIGHT.!! hey i agree with you on something
Your truck sounds mean! Is it a 2.7L or a 4.0L? This is a great muffler from what I've seen/heard!..def getting it for my new taco. Seems like Aero has put alot of quality and technology into these turbine series mufflers. Is it holdin up well? Also, was any sounds change after it was broken in? Thanks and good luck with the truck;)
so you just had the stock muffler cut out and this one welded in? sounds badass Im thinkin about doin it. Any check engine lights? It doesnt void the warranty does it?
Yeah just a cut and weld. No check engine lights, no problem with the dealers. Took it to my local muffler shop and they did a nice job installing it. I know Midas is a dealer. Dont know if you have those by you, but i would check them out.
I bought mine off ebay, but i dont see it on their website anymore. It was up there when i purchased the muffler.
