lol, just cus the game is 18+ doesn't mean the players are any more mature. I played AoC for a lil while, and it's broken in so many ways. Yeah it looks great but if the gameplay doesn't keep you interested then what good are all the flashy graphics? WAR will probably be very polished when it hits. You wont see a new patch every week fixing things that shoulda been ironed out in beta, like AoC. Plus the "cartoony" graphics require waaay less system requirements while still looking good.

KoAproductions, I've been playing AoC from launch, and the community is already pretty crappy compared to what we had hoped for. Lots of people whinning about getting killed, OOC being worse then trade chat in WoW... Not to mention that it still needed at least 6 more months before launch. As soon as WAR comes out, I'm switching.

i fail to see how GW does pvp better than anyone, its pretty much just little arena's you play in with 5 vs 5 and 12 vs 12, WAR wil have huge castle sieges with 50 vs 50, zone wide territory's and way more classes to chose from, WoW and guild wars is half the man WAR will be in rvr/pvp

in wow onc eyou get epic flyer and get epics at 70 the game is over no point of pvping and arenaing or even doing raids.. this game last for ever cuz you take over teritorys in a number of diff ways so dwarfs can pretty much rule most of the game ( not everything cuz there are alliances)

yea dude, as a person who played guild wars for over a year (release to Nightfall) and Wow (Last october till this october) i can say the pvp in both of those gets old fast. GW is a fad in HoH. They find one build and exploit it. Wow on the other hand is better, but at high levels its more arena based and BG's are boring. world pvp is lacking almost all around. WAR will be about 90% pvp and im fine with that because it will focus on world pvp and group battles

Hardduck, I played LotRO and it is not yet what I expected, they will add more places but I can't be assed to wait, rest, it was boring, no good kinships (guilds) lame monster play because guys who just reached lvl 10 play all the way only monster play, and u can only fight with lames, I'm bored with LotRO. My advice, if u are patient(and it's not only about maps, lvls also and all things), go play LotRO, u will like it.

I agree on WoW as far as RvR goes. Blizzard kind of dropped the ball on PvP, considering the flavor of the WC RTS series. WoW is still a fun game IMO. But if WAR is as good as I hope and not bad as I fear, will probably drop WoW for it( GW gamer since early 80s lol.)

in the latest grab bag they tell you that you CAN meet up with friends from the same faction at pretty much any level to fight the other faction, its just that some RvR and Public quests are only greenskin vs dawrf, chaos vs human, etc related and stuff like that

First off this game looks awesome. And although I know the main set-up is Greenskins vs. Dwarves, Chaos vs. Humans, etc. I think they will make a way for the Greenskins to fight with the Chaos to kill the Dwarves and Humans.

Although it may not be right away, it would make the game last longer.

THe thing I like the most is the part about where it's actually a WAR going on, not just some petty skirmishes (although they are also in the game)

Also, EVERYONE can fight in Melee... A Runepriest doesn't carry a 90.7 dps wand just for the stats you know... atleast not in Warhammer ^^
