I downloaded the 1.8 version and this game has massive bugs. Everything is black in the first level. Only the user created levels work and do not show up as a black screen. But there is no shadow elements to it. Me no like this game...yet because of bugs. :(

Most of the custom levels doesn't show the shadow-light effects while very few do. *sigh* I guess I'll stick with player-made levels then. I'm interested interested in the dev made levels though. As of so far, I find this game pretty fun, yet of course, pretty buggy...I have mixed opinions on this game. :[
@MAT0R0 Have you tried the Stealth Bastard forums? Someone may be able to help you out there. If the player made levels run, the campaign ones should be able to run too. Whereabouts have you installed the game? and what version of Windows are you using?

@maxi155 In v1.08, I fixed one of the major memory leaks that was causing the game to slow down after short periods. It's definitely recommended to download the latest version, since all I'm doing is fixing problems. :)
I already have a complain, The main website is down so I can't download the new version and the controls are so messed up that I can't move around at all in the current version. (1.04)
Please fix this as soon as possible as well as maybe putting it on Steam because it looks so good.
@TrollWithTheGlasses A very small number of people report that up and left go down and right, and that they can't control the game at all. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce it, and I'm unable to fix it until I figure out why it's happening. (The overwhelming majority of people have no issue with the controls.)

@ALLOUT009 You may have hit the server at a time where it was particularly busy. Wait a bit and it'll work fine.
However, if you're talking about the bug where there are no menus, and a black screen at launch, then you have installed it somewhere where UAC prevents it from creating the files it needs to run. Install it to C:\StealthBastard (or somewhere else that isn't Program Files) and ensure you have administrator rights.
Seriously... I -REALLY- think you guys should add a donate button or something. This game Is surely brilliant In several ways, and you guys deserve some feedback and motivation to keep on rollin'.
Maybe you might add it later in humble indie bundle. Beside donate button on the site would be good for now, I would rather do that then pay for Explodemon which don't attract me at all, even if I do it only to support you guys. Keep up the good work. :)
@echelon2k8 All tiles in the main game are available for use in the editor. When in tile mode, scroll up and down with the mouse wheel to switch between background tiles and overlays.

When playing Stealth Bastard, data is periodically sent back to a server, including: the user’s Stealth Bastard login details, level ratings and level completion data. This data is anonymous and contains no personally identifiable information beyond your username.
If you got to stealthbastard . com, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Privacy Policy, this is explained in further detail.
@TheFailing1 Leaderboard and level rating information, as well as some anonymous player statistics (total number of users, total game deaths worldwide, total number of levels downloaded and completed worldwide, total time played worldwide), are available to all logged-in users. To make that available, we need to access the data in your save file on your computer and send it back to the server.
this is a great game btw, but is anyone having problems with your character slowing down after playing a few levels? It resets when you exit the game and come back in
@MrFinnJohnson yes because it seems stupid to go from one extreme to another, either devs are complaining about piracy or they make the game entirely free, what about finding a middle road, cheap games are good, so devs earn money to make more games.

I went into the options to see what key is it, but those keys are only on Controllers.
