Fuck Rennsport cockpits. $1300? Dude, that was the fucking down payment on my Mustang! I've been into simulations for over 15 years, I love them, but there is a limit, and spending that much on a CHAIR; is that limit. I mean honestly, weigh the options. Getting a real car with 400 ft/lbs of torque... or a CHAIR? "Buy a real cockpit".... to that, I say, BUY A REAL CAR!

Hello, could you please make a follow up review of the wheel? Many people have been reporting long-term use issues with the Fanatec wheels. How has it been holding up? Any problems?
i ask him before but he said nothing but front cover behind the wheel fell apart from main body. so i guess no mechanical problem so thats good cause i pre order 911 turbo S.
Buy a real cockpit. Ever seen fanatecs own cockpit? It have holder for 3 flatscreen tv:s and you can adjust exactly how far the wheel shall be from you etc.
yeh other than Pro Street I've always liked the gameplay, but the last few have been full of glitches, so I'm waiting for one particular review and the demo for SHIFT, but I have been loving Supercar Challenge and I'll make a review for it whenever I get around to it
I just asked at the counter :P only knew they'd have it after about 2 yrs of internet searching tho, (which was before it made it to australia :P) they should be able to order it in for you
I mean, you have the right to like NFS games, but NFS underground 2 is not the best arcade racer @ all!!! Hot pursuit and Hot pursuit 2, NFS Porsche 2000 were good arcade games.
Ever since the first underground release, NFS games just got crappier!
How is that even possible? Do you crash your real car if you haven't driven for a couple weeks? Hahahaha, try first person unless you like remote control car racing.
I don't drive with my foot flat to the floor in a real car (usually) things like that are exaggerated at high speeds also most of your peripheral vision in cockpit view is blocked by the A pillar in a way that just feels un-natural to me (maybe my volvo has better visibility tan I thought)
oh ffs are u really this thick, not even the best simulators are completely accurate and like I already said actions are magnified at high speeds that I don't get to do on the road

with the 360-compatible 'S' version being announced (and forza 3 coming up), i'm looking at getting this wheel if possible.
however, i'm in australia as well, i live in brisbane. as such, i was wondering how you managed to get the wheel through dick smith?
