Humphrey is an archetypal BBC presenter. You take a transcript of Edith Bowman and Jake Humphrey talking on the same subject you wouldn't be able to tell them apart. Little bit arrogant, new age indie cool and terrible at segways. It's the BBC way.
Then they'll whore around on each others shows promoting each other as popular presenters until the public just unconsciously accept it.
Re-watch Jake in Valencia. See the parc ferme, the fishmarkets, the drivers ignoring him and cringing... Twat.
At first I didn't like Jake Humpreys but over time I have come to really enjoy his presence on F1. Sure, he'll never be a Murray Walker or James Hunt, but I hope the BBC keeps him on F1 for a long time! GO JAKE!!! :)

What a talentless, ignorant, vain, irritating prat this guy is, one of the worst presenters around without question. From delivering his words as if there's a full stop after each of them, to pronouncing words such as little and metal like a three year old learning how to speak, to having all the personality of a cabbage, to top it all I'm forced to pay his wages.
@n01rationalist you're a dick. Jake humphrey is the best presenter of F1. Why who do you want... someone like steve rider and mark blundell who are dull and don't have a sense of humour. Jake has humour... he adds comedy and atmosphere to the show. I met Jake Humphrey this year at Goodwood
That Dry Slap came to see me in St Thomas's Hospital in London after I had my Back Opperation. He was quite new to our church at the time. So I asked him before we left for the week and I got a free signed photo of him saying get well soon.
As long as he sticks to the F1 I don't mind.
Seen him hosting MOTD 2 and it was painful.

Jake Humphrey is one of the best presenters I have seen. He always seems to be relaxed and very natural.
