Hi there, thanks for sharing your thoughts. We believe that is through people that change happens in the world, and we put people at the center of community problem solving. We actually do not engage people in volunteering for the government - people volunteer at our 250 affiliates across the world to solve problems in their own communities. Thanks for sharing.
If you're smart then you won't have a thing to do with this "volunteerism" mentality. This seeks to take away your individualism and your freedom. This seeks to cause you to believe that it is a good thing to volunteer your time, money, labor...etc to a government that continually seeks to take, take, take and take some more from you everyday. Remember... Government works for you and not the other way around. When asked to volunteer just say no.
