This composer, Jun Wakita, really has what it takes to be a SERIOUS composer. If this song was slowed down just a bit, played by a better pianist and made a little longer, it would definitively compare itself to Rachmaninov! Somebody contact Jun and tell him my comment! :> thanks!

@futuregirlpianist This upload is a midi. An electronic performance will never compare to a live performance. And IMO Rachmaninoff wasn't a really good composer. His works were rather mediocre in comparison to true virtuosos such as Beethoven and Bach.

Well i say it is written strictly for being difficult and for the advanced piano players. I doubt any string instrument such as the violin would be able to even playing this piece. It doesn't sound to bad. For being near difficult and all the notes used im shocked it still has the happy tone quality to it.
