  • @mstorey622 well it might have to do with thr fact that the "singer" in this version is actually the composer?

  • I love this song because everything in it is so true.

No xenophobia, no social stigmas, and no pretentious assholes besides the ones whining about people not listening to this song more.

  • I would listen to this for three days straight (if given the chance)...

  • @wojtek6781 for good reason

  • Quite fitting for this game

  • I heard the glee version screamed, had a fit, and with my last breath I put this on.

  • @TheAlienEmbyro I turned the Glee version on, listened, vomited and the vowed to spam the name "COLE PORTER" all over the video's comment board...

  • @Gamma287 Jerk. There version was as good as this one so there is no need to hate.

  • @ladylunaray Meh. I hate on everything newer than '90. You see, I hate everything equally...

  • @Gamma287 So you hate on me then? I'm newer then the 90s! WHy do you say you hate on everything newer then that like its something to be proud of??? No one likes a hater, hater.

  • @ladylunaray You do I know music, my dear? Heck, I'm a 90s born teenager, but I believe myself to be, erm, culturally antiquated.

  • @Gamma287 I totally agree! :D But I wouldn't call it antiquated but classic... :D

  • @Petal0oza I agree with you as well, but I was referring to my self as "having an antiquated mindset," not the song. Cole Porter is one of, if not the absolute, the best Broadway composers to ever come out of the United States!

  • @Petal0oza I just realized my comment on lunaray was terrible, grammar-wise...

  • Thumbs down. You have played the original fallout 1 and 2, right?

  • @engineer817 Yep. Turn based fun, the music was great but in the new ones it's awesome.

  • Good old Bethesda taught everyone the wonders of 50's music. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @FanarnarBoi Actually everyone has the wonders of the 30s - 40s music, Obsidian Entertainment can bring you the wonders of the 50s though.

    :)

Not complaining, both eras have great music, just had to be that guy XD

  • When i clicked on this i thought it said Cole Potter proves how tired i am :P <3 the song tho

  • It's Cole Porter music! Cole is cool! Porter carries the tunes to put the dames in the mood. Cole Porter's music is good. Cole's lyrics are bold; Porter's music unfolds the legs of romance. It's the dance of love. Cole Porter's music flies on the wings of a dove. Cole Porter's music is the music of love.

  • fallout 3's songs were so much better than new vegas'.

  • Don't kid yourselves. This was the equivalent standard of a High School Musical of the 1930s.

  • @untriedhunter I was waiting for someone to make that reference, haha!

  • I would not say our generation is ruined, i would never judge anybody by what type of music that person likes, but, this is definetly 1000000000 times better than any music produced in our generation.

  • the music, the music never changes...

  • Its a funny music tune although you can get it stuck in you head very easy trust me ive had it stuck in my head like 6 thousand times while playing fallout 3

  • Like if you knew and appreciated this song before Fallout even existed.

  • someone needs to "Accidently" make hundreds of fallout vaults fill 'em with 40's & 50's stuff (music, clothes, posters, etc etc) and then nuke the world >__> ...life would be So much funner having to shoot Super mutants in the face with a sawed off shot gun :3

  • I am in this play at school right now haha.

  • Kids today hearing this from Fallout. God damn.

I heard this shit from Temple of doom!

  • @untriedhunter Relax, wouldn't it be a good thing that we were introduced to good music over the rest of the crap today?

  • better than UKF!

  • I thought he said "I am gay" instead of "times have changed"

  • @iamcewl bahahahahaha

  • omg i herd thiz songs from mai favret game durrrrrrrrrrr

  • Comment removed

  • who found this song without playing fallout

  • our generation is ruind no one has a taste like this anymore

  • @MrMutsy We seem to have forgotten English as well

  • @MrMutsy That doesn't make it ruined. A lot of kids actually don't listen to this because they're parents like it, and don't want to be classified as 'un-cool'. After they grow out of their immaturity, if they like the music good. If they don't good. It's called an opinion.

  • @CCCPancakes

Yeah, and the people with shitty opinions are ruining music, you fucking idiot.

  • @TopTenCrew If you feel that way, fuck off. Music diversity is what makes this world... interesting. Shitty opinions are all from a perspective. Different music allows different people to talk about their interests. I like metal, dubstep, classic, jazz, 80's rock, just about all kinds of music. I'm sorry you see so short sightedly.

  • @CCCPancakes

No, you're an idiot. Rap, dubstep, hiphop, etc, that's not music. You're fucking stupid if you think so.

  • @TopTenCrew calm down man people have their choices. because I for one like Dubstep and Classic Metal like metallica but I love these older songs more than both genres combined.

  • @TopTenCrew And I quote:

"Music: The art or science of combining vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion."

I think dubstep falls into this description. Along with every genre of music.

  • @CCCPancakes

No, it doesn't. It's shit. It's not music. Me shitting into the toilet would be music under that BS definition.

  • @TopTenCrew I see now you're just a pathetic troll.

  • @CCCPancakes Well I've got to be honest.. He has a point, hardcore, hardstyle, dubstep etc are often entertaining tunes to listen to but you will never be able to call such songs 'classic'. Unlike songs as this one or for example songs from sinatra or dean martin. Saying that dubstep or any other genre 'is not music' is wrong in my opinion.. everyone should be entitled to their own taste in music.

  • @CCCPancakes

explain how me shitting in the toilet wouldnt be music under your (wrong) definition.

  • @MrMutsy

I'd say the bigger problem is pretentious cunts who thinks their music makes them superior somehow.

  • @MrMutsy bit of an over exaggeration

  • @MrMutsy

ARGH FUCKING HELL GODDAMN EVERY TIME I GO ON SOMETHING OLD THERE'S ALWAYS SOME FUCKASS VOTEWHORING 19 YEAR OLD GOING "DURR DURR THERE IS NO DECENT MUSIC ANY MORE THUMBS UP IF YOU'RE AS IGNORANT AS ME!" FUCK. YES, I MAD.

  • @martiallaw201

Furthermore, as if you liked swing music before the recent Fallout games. Cunt.

  • @martiallaw201 man why cant modern music be like this............. >:)

  • @MrMutsy LoL only Fallout 3 players

  • @MrMutsy I lol'd

  • @MrMutsy Is this supposed to be ironic, because the Musical this song is from is currently on Broadway, has been for a while, and won a Tony in 2011.

  • @MrMutsy Entirely untrue. I am 13 years old. I love this song! Why do you assume i don't? :P

  • The most nostalgic song ever

  • "'Stead of landing on Plymouth Rock,

Plymouth Rock would land on them." Oh my god! I had no idea this was what was being referenced in Malcolm X. I just thought it was a crazy, illogical line. LOL.

  • Yeah bros. The nostalgia this game had was amazing. From the blinding amount of light you get straight out of the Vault, to the Ghouls you always feared in the darkness. What an amazing game.

  • @GuukanKitsune your dad sounds like a bad-ass. I love it when games make people happy and learn more about others, even when in the same family :')

  • this is what music was like before auto-tune and voice filters were invented

  • FallOut mother fucker!

  • This quickly became my new favorite song.

  • Glee brought me here

  • @PioggiaNelVento me too.

  • @TheGreatC0mmie alot of mainstream artists use a computer to make their music.

  • Would love to go back in time and shake this mans hand. This song just brings back good memories of Fallout and just throughout my life. Not like this new music that sounds like ' I shot my best mate in the head, yeah, yeah, yeah, I say yeah when I can't think of any more lyrics, yeah'

  • I Don't know why... this song makes me cry.

  • Shore appreciate this OptimumPx.

  • I heard this on the radio the other day. I guess they still play good music sometimes.

  • @Taterzoid I heard this on Galaxy News Radio the other day.

  • When was this first recorded'

  • @Rmmedi 1934, that's when the Musical that it's the leading song for was released.

  • great game and great song but wtf they sung this on glee

  • @laxkid61 Wtf? Just reading that sentence made me angry inside

  • @Bloodlustian How? song is great, i was referring to fallout 3 (obviously), and yeah they sung this on glee. just didn't expect that

  • Fallout 3 hands down, absolutely HANDS DOWN! Has the best video game soundtrack ever!!

  • This comment is about me coming here because of Glee. Feel free to thumbs down it.

  • @Corbinlova12 They don't sing it right in glee

  • @mojavecourier It's a cover! It's a whole different interpretation, and frankly, it's better when they don't copy the song exactly like it is. Glee wouldn't be what it is if they didn't make it their own.

  • FALLOUT 3 = AWESOME MUSIC

  • OK, my sister watches Glee and she's watching it in the other room I just heard them doing a cover of this song. I decided to come here before the shit hits the fan so I can say this. Guys, I know Glee sucks, but a lot of us only know about this song from Fallout 3, so let's just leave the Glee fans be.

  • @abcdefh1992 are you kidding me??? I freaked out when it came on! the show is hilarious, no need to trash talk it, and as far as I'm concerned, a song like this getting popular attention can hardly ever be a bad thing. We found out about it from FO3, hopefully some more people now know about it thanks to glee.

  • @fenwayfanatic94 I happened to be eating dinner with my mom, and she's crazy about glee. I find the show too cheesy for me to watch, but I did enjoy their cover of the song... however, the original is better in my opinion... Alot calmer and much more pleasing to hear.

  • "This is Three Dog...ahhooowwwww, and your listening to Galaxy News Radio, bringing you the truth....no matter how bad it is..." Fallout 3 is epic :D

  • The lone wanderer sends me here

  • are you stupid look at wiki plymouth rock is they first landed in america

  • @Bioshock7000 Plymouth Rock doesn't exist

  • @fallingfallen take a history class or just ask a teacher of ANY class.... except in the deep south

  • @peytongonavy Plymouth Rock was a fabricated event to increase interest in the subject. The first noted reference of Plymouth Rock was 121 years after they "landed" on it. You might want to read the book "Don't Know Much About History" the author informs the reader of all the fabricatd events that most other students learn in public school.

  • This Song REALLY fits when you have mods on...

    Holy jesus.

When you're fighting super mutants along side gordon freeman, anything goes...

anyway, this is my favorite song on fallout 3.

  • When I went to Dc on a trip and went on the metro, I kept expecting ghouls to attack me around a corner or something. SO MUCH NOSTALGIA!!!

  • I love this song so much. Classic. I'm doing another fallout 3 play through with FWE.

  • Times have changed .....If today...We cannot tell a lady from ho's If any Kar Dashion should design today

And if any "lady" should wear her clothes

You would think she would be shunned to-day

    but now anything goes!

  • when fallout 3

finally decides to goes to space

    anything goes

  • @madcow4410 Mothership Zeta DLC

  • @TehAnkh madcow got owned :D:D

  • Plymouth Rock doesn't land on Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris whales on Plymouth Rock.

  • :)

  • God if something like Fallout 3 happens in real life we better have Galaxy News Radio! ...and good guns that don't break if you shoot it too much!

  • @ElvenLovePro there is no such weapon, especially in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where you won't have access to good weapon preservation tools

  • Plymouth Rock landed on 8 people.

  • Was anyone else surprised that his voice sounds so nasally?

  • 8 Talon Company Soldiers ....

  • I masturbate to this :D

  • My dad heard me singing this song to myself after getting it stuck in my head playing Fallout 3, and was all 'I was in that play in High School. I don't remember the words to it anymore, but I still remember the tune. Where did you run into that song?' When I told him, he started laughing and then said 'It's nice that some of the jewels from the past are still hanging around for future generations to enjoy."

  • I'm so glad that the Fallout series came out and promoted 40s music, I was into this kind of music way before the Fallout games came out though... Maybe If we promote it enough we can make the Fallout style a reality for the future... Promote this music, wear the clothes, drive the cars, ect... JOIN THE REDO40s REVOLUTION!!! "MAKE THE PAST, THE FUTURE" XDDD Like if you will join me!!!

  • @IHAZTHEADHDZ hey i saw your playlist, you should take a look at mine 72 songs all 30's-early 50's

  • @IHAZTHEADHDZ Hipsters for the win

  • @IHAZTHEADHDZ Yeah I'm up for it but can we keep xboxes and HD TVs?

  • @IHAZTHEADHDZ and the 50's

  • At 0:18 Cole Porter came ;)

  • Tha-REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE DAOOOOOOOWWWGGG!!!

  • Due to the sheer situational irony, this song is one of the most memorable in FO3. Almost everyone has a vivid memory of an especially intense, brutal battle while this song plays in the background. Personally, I'll always remember assaulting the trenches in front of the White House with a minigun blazing while this song played.

  • Nothing goes for 7 people.

  • When I heard this in Fallout, I immediately thought of Sleuth (the 1972 version), one of my favorite horror films.

  • Most addicting game ever. I dont know if its the fact that the music is good, or you sit there staring at a tv while being hypnotized by it, but i love it either way.

  • aaahhhhh this song + bloody mess perk = good times, good times :D

  • Every time I hear a song that was on Fallout 3 I always remember sneaking around those Raider camps and beating them to death with my fists. Or blowing their heads off with my Xuanlong Assault Rifle. Sometimes throwing a grenade at them. Or taking out my switchblade to cut up the Ghouls... Good times... Good times...

  • My F3 isnt working ate the moment because os some "ati2dvag"if you can help please do I just want to play F3 again until then ill just listen to these songs :)

  • it takes a nuclear war for people to realize good music

  • cant beleive this game is 3 years old already.

i played it so much when it came out i got like 150 hours on one of my saves.

  • 7 ppl dont hav lifes

  • I will Falcon Punch anybody who says this sucks.

  • @Crayzeevideeos

    This sucks.

I mean, I actually love the song. I just don't like people threatening me.

    So: Bring it, bitch...

  • @TheFacelessActivist

Okay. Now, I'm a little scared.

  • @TheFacelessActivist

Okay. Now, I'm a little scared. Please don't hurt me.

  • @Crayzeevideeos

Don't worry, I'm just goofing off.

I'm a hippie, we don't hurt anyone besides angry government officials. Peace out, man.

  • In Soviet Russia, the tv watches YOU!

  • I love this other teens who say this suck can nuked by vault boy

  • Its funny how a future-set game got me into classic music.

  • In soviet russia, there is no Plymouth Rock to land on you.

    SEE WHAT I DID THERE?

  • @ADeadHeaDz

    No.

  • Damn, the memories with this game. So many good times exploring. So many times that this song would accompany me in the metro. Damn, I taking out all the Super Mutants with a hunting-rifle in the Hospital with this song playing. Good memories.

  • @ArmouredCommander dude i soo understand you!!

  • @aslan40000 Stay nostalgic my friends.

  • @ArmouredCommander yea, i wish fallout new vegas was as fun as fallout 3 :(

  • @ArmouredCommander our lady of hope hostpital, aka the most confusing mutant infested building in the capital wasteland

  • @ArmouredCommander NUKA GRENADE CARPET BOMBING!!!

  • @ArmouredCommander i wish fallout new vegas had that same feel but it was different i dont know how to say it but it was not the same i know the music was not the same but it was different everything was different

  • I used the ACDC section cuz i thought they remade this song. They didnt....D:

  • @wewantsoad But honestly just imagine AC-DC singing this?

  • Who here thinks that the johnywest and bioshock7000 are wasting space in the top comments section? BTW dont thumbs up mine

  • thumbs up if you were going to say "in soviet Russia, Plymouth rock lands on you!" but then saw Bioshock7000 already did it >:O

  • this music is making me insane.. i ont feel good and fallout 3 is doing this to me

  • @Bioshock7000 We all understand Russian culture being a good bit different from American culture, and a hyperbolic vice-versa of common concepts adds humor to the scenario, but seriously, be more original next time.

  • Fallout 3 much?

  • @FreeCupcakezFTW lets go@!!

  • Anything Goes is a musical with music and lyrics by Cole Porter. The musical introduced such songs as "Anything Goes," "You're the Top," and "I Get a Kick Out of You." Since its 1934 debut the musical has been revived several times. It is a cassical piece of music and a wonderful song.

  • 7 people let matt gordon produce his show -.-

  • The Rok-It Launcher: Anything goes!

  • "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;

Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness....

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,

And prudent in their own sight!" Isaiah 5:20-21

  • I prefer the temple of doom version

  • Plymouth rock landed on 7 people

  • Why is it that when this song comes on I go on a Super Mutant killing spree. Hmmm

    XD

  • my school did this song in a play

  • @angrypedstrien555 I am fairly certain that this was written for the musical that goes with it, but I am young and ignorant I could be wrong...

  • @lottavernix well the play iscalled anything goes

  • @lottavernix The version in the play is a bit different, some of the lyrics are changed or in a different order...but it's clearly just another version of the same song.

  • @angrypedstrien555 The play is called Anything Goes, ;]

  • @BlakOktobure it sucked

  • This is Galaxy News Radio! Bringin' you the truth...no matter how BAD it hurts.
