For someone that has been playing for 3 months and is only 11 years old this is pretty good. But I suggest practicing on slower songs like ACDC or some rock stuff. Work on your timing first and if you can play a song like back in black steady, then go on to more advanced songs like this one.

Your technique is really sloppy, and you seem to have a bit of a problem with your kicks. Keep practicing, man. I'm 14 and I just got the song down with little imperfections. You're a bit off rhythm in the middle and you need to get your cymbal fixed or replaced or else it's going to shatter. Good job though and keep practicing.

And your cousin might have bought a good kit. If you buy used, you can get a pretty decent kit for a few hundred bucks. If he bought a bad one, it might be time to buy a new one.

extra bass drums are cheap though and a double bass can build up better co-ordination. but you can also get sensitive pedals that make songs like this easier to play by tapping your foot repeditively. hes alright but for 3 months thats pretty good. keep on rocking bro!

I started out with double bass (DW 2002) I got them 1 week after I got my set, and last Christmas got some Tricks.

I feel like the hours I put in everyday more than justifies starting with double bass. Plus I'm 17. I guess it's an age/determination thing. at 3 months I was worlds better than this kid.
