  • Btw... if you haven’t checked it out, you should read Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. I think you would like Stephenson’s books, along with Robert J. Sawyer’s books.

  • @132L7 Yeah I've read snow crash. Another one of my favorites :) Will have to check out Sawyer.

  • In one of the episodes of The Big Bang Theory, Wil Wheaton makes amends with Sheldon by giving him a Crusher figurine and LeVar Burton becomes Sheldon’s new nemesis. *Not going to spoil how for those that haven’t seen it.*

  • U should Read The Steve Jobs Biography, it's really great!

  • You HAVE to read The Fault in Our Stars by John Green! Wait, are you a nerdfighter? If you're not, you MUST become one! :D

  • OMG I remember coding in ASM on an Apple IIe ... interlaced monochrome video RAM was a ... well, you know, when you're only 8 years old.

  • @KittenKoder :) I started out on an apple iie myself but that was mostly for games.. and then logo and learning how to type and stuff. the first computer I had at home was a 286 and on that I used basic to do coding when I was around 10ish or so.

  • i went to a comic expo where a guy kind of tried to convince me to get this book. at least i think it was this book. i had a ghostbusters shirt on and he said there was a reference to GB on the first page or something. i passed though. might have to take a look though. MAN is that beautiful green pacman in the back mesmerizing.

  • @thevagabondcircus It truly i a great book and I'd highly recommend it. I think I remember the ghost busters reference. There are tons of different references which I think is one reason it makes it so great. I was waiting and waiting but I got the Orson Scott Card shoutout I was looking for (my dog's name is Ender).

  • Did you know Wheaton has a youtube channel? He posts really goofy vlogs and videos.

This book sounds good...I will check it out. Have you read William Gibson? He is the godfather of cyber-fiction, and coined the phrase virtual reality. He did the "immersion" idea first. Check out Neuromancer if you haven't.

  • @Illuminatta ah no I didn't know he had one. will have to check it out. I have almost grabbed a couple gibson books but I haven't yet read one I dont think. Thanks fo rthe tips :)

  • @Urgo6667 You're welcome! I put a request in to my library for this on CD for my car. I just finished my last book on CD (the finalbook of Guilliermo Del Toro's The Strain trilogy) and was looking for something. I'll let you know what I think. :)

  • Where do you get your audio books from mostly? Thanks! :))

  • @notellyearight1 I have a subscription to audible so there.

  • @Urgo6667 Uhhh the name is "audible" or "audible so there" hehehe I seriously don't know about Audio Books, and wondered where to start as I have a LOT of space left on my Sansa Clip.

  • Excellent review, and it sounds like a book well worthy of a read. I don't make time for reading as often as I used to, but I still get the most enjoyment from sitting down with the printed page. There's something to be said for savoring the moment, and replaying imagery, and the grip that an author gets on your mind through his artistry with text.

I'll put this one on my list.

  • The first movie that I saw Will Wheaton in was Stand By Me. He was good in that one. As far as books, though I don't read as much now, I really liked the Narnia series and also Star Wars (the ones that were written after Return of the Jedi).

  • @ssurjap ah yes, he is famous for that movie too. My parents read me the narnia series as a kid and I've re-"read" each book (for the most part) before the movies have come out and yeah those are good, but at a different level then books like this one. As for star wars can't say I've read the books but the movies are great :)

  • I LOVE books. I have So many books my husband is building me a library right now. Thanks for the review, Im always looking for different authors. Ive gotten stuck on certain ones threw out the years. Is that a pillow pet next to the computer? LOL.

  • @Katmamik lol yes it is a pillow pet ;) And as for my library, it is virtually growing every month w/ audible :) Have any good books you'd recommend?

  • @Urgo6667 I read mostly science fiction or fantisy, but yeah I do. I know this is a kids book, but its good. Eragon By Christopher I think his last name is Paolini. Also The Wayfarer Redemption By Sara Douglass. This one is a more adult trilogy, but even though Eragon is in the teen section it still holds up for adults too, or maybe like you with your pillow pet I'm just a big kid. Oh Hunger Games...I cant think of the author.

  • Anthem by ayn rand is my favorite book, but i have no idea if its an audio book as well...

  • Did you read through the whole Ender/Bean series @Urgo6667? I read the whole Bean side of the series and I'm on the Ender side now... The whole thing pieces together very well.

  • @TimeSuppression I did :) Absolutely loved all of those as well... along with all of OSC's other books too. That why my dog's name is Ender :)

  • omigsoh!! haha imfourth durrr hurrr huurrrrr im a fag duhhhh.....GUYS! please stop commenting this! its annoying to EVERYONE! and people will just think your a 5 year old retard! nice video btw

  • @swan5753 Come on, dude. It's just a classic thing to say. I'm 17 and I enjoyed typing it. What kind of person would you be to tell people to stop commenting that on a YouTube video. Don't be a party pooper :D

  • Fourth! (Sorry)

  • Third (I couldn't help myself).
