baah.. im an idiot too coz' i'd really want to go to japan! Im trying to learn jap in my free time. But its not some kind of "omen" that took over my mind rotfl. its just because japanesse culture is completely different than the rest of our world!

They are UNIQUE! They have fascinating legend!

Great Fantasy! The way they think is way different! They make great technology! Cars! Animes! Games! Everything is more passionating than US, German, Russian Stuff (etc)!

Going to japan isn't crazy or anything, but truly wishing to be born there is pretty crazy.

Their culture really isn't that unique though, and it's a very hard stretch to see they are more "passionate" about everything they do. You could say in the US movies and music have a lot more emotion put into them, etc etc. They are more proficient in different areas, but not all around.

It's just a bit ridiculous to me to not see what great things you have around you already.

you've got a point there but theres still one "but" for me here :) don't you think that this is obvious that most of us won't say that some things around us are great just because they are used to them?

I think its natural that we like something different from things we have to see everyday. and i bet its same with jap peoples. Look at Hideo Kojima :) he was inspired with James Bond while making Metal Gear Solid series! He thought that its great! plus jap fantasy = 110% success!
