I think this is the best live video of this (Nevetheless) on the internet. Crowd feedback is cool. Song is so awesome. I often jump around to see the other vids of this song. Fave indeed.
WHO THE FUCK CARES HOW WELL ANTON IS HUNG?!?!? YOU STUPID BITCH!!! he is the best fuckin musician alive right now and you have the nerve to speak like that? FUCK YOU your pea sized brain only allows you to think of dicks when the best music you have ever heard is being played to you....it should be a federal law that you can no longer listen to BJM after a retard comment like that
another universe of reduced awareness? or are people left on this planet which believe in something beyond justin bieber and all the other popstars?
Music is not able to change the circumstances under which we are living, but it makes it better. Help me, to help yourself and check out my music(give it a chance)
This song rips me up every time I hear it. Especially this performance. It's loose but yet tight at the same time, if that makes sense. I think Anton runs the ship to be as such and has such a great line-up. I get my first chance to see BJM perform in about 3 weeks and I am pretty damn happy about it. Plus, the new album blows me away.
When I saw them live they played Telegram and this song back to back.... it was crazy awesome. The last 30 minutes of the set was pure feed back and beats.
Not only that, but he is also able to produce a different vocal sound from song to song as well. That makes the BJM sound something that is continually fresh and interesting to me. I'm rather obsessed with this song and the performance itself (obviously). It has everything something fantastic should have.
Ahh you are so lucky to have seen BJM. I believe Anton is in the best health of his life right now so it must have really been something huge, as you say. I'mr really going to try for next year, if he tours.
hate you lol.. I'd sure love to see this band. I'm past the festival stuff, though.. what type venue was it? Was Anton *on* that night? This performance is my favorite of all for some reasong (this song/video). He seems really vulnerable.
The venue was pretty small. It was called The Clubhouse. It's in Tempe, AZ. All of the original members were there. HaHa! And they of course played this song at the show I went to. And it wasn't a festival or anything. There was an opening band, then BJM! :) :) :)
He may be controversial but he is such a good singer/writer/composer. Fuck mainstream music/corporations, they popute the airwaves with pointless/degrading music. I love this tune.
marslove129: sometimes people choose controversial subjects to open up a dialogue about an event that was distorted by the main stream media, thus giving the public an incorrect perspective on that event. . .Forgive me, but your question is so unlettered that it makes you seem like the one that is "just horrible." Good luck in awaking from your zombie like state. . .
Pure synergy between the crowd and band. The French are so giving and without ego. Artists have found refuge and comfort in France for ages. The best live moment of BJM I have heard. Wisdom and experience come to fruition at this moment in musical history. So powerful after the solo when it comes back into the verse from chorus. Put your heart into music.
Ok, forgive me for this: Anton looks like some 62 year-old dude who lives out in the country, 17 broken down old cars littering his "estate," picking off kitties with a bb-gun, swilling beer, but HE IS SO EFFING SEXY. Nobody sings like Anton does.. I love everything about him except those poli-rant mails he sends out. That said, I'm listening to this again right now.
i love the band, but they are obviously a carry on from the sixties. Donovan was one of the biggest influences on Anton Newcombe and it shows in his song writing.
One o fthe best songs BJM wrote, the lyrics are unreachable, so true. so right. If i knew a way out, from breaking your heart... we have all been there, on both ends.

somehow i think Anton got the last laugh and is still laughing. His music is liked worldwide. The greatest artists and inventors has always had extremely difficult personalities. Being strange and an asshole when on drugs didnt prevent James Brown from becomming a household name with a million dollar career. Anton is a musicians musician, a broader audience will likely never understand what the fuzz is about. but he will be copied for years to come in genres not even related to his own.
