Didn't care for this look or the model.  I tried the mineral foundation but even the lightest one was not pale enough for my skin.

You can even see when Achelle applies the foundation that it is too dark for the model...I love a lot of e.l.f. products, but most of their face products tend to fall very flat, with shades that don't really complement a wide variety of people. A lot of times I find they look quite unnatural...

I love e.l.f. mostly for eyeshadows (the mineral ones are excellent) and lip products (again, mineral ones are excellent), because they generally have great shades for low prices.

@crimrose The secret is to mix the foundation for a custom color and save the recipe. My perfect match is 1 jar each of "Fair" "Light" and "Warm" along with 1/2 (one half) teaspoon (I use a measuring spoon) of the Coral blush. It's perfect! The minerals are great but not one size fits all--but once you have the recipe for your perfect skin match, you can mix up a batch and store it in a bigger container with a screw top. I mix colors for all my clients for a custom match!

Bismuth oxychloride makes me break out, not only that but I can never get a face color from elf that isn't orange on my very pale skin. :(

I love everything from the mineral line except the foundation. Colors are way too unnatural.

BTW I think that the model is very pretty.

be warned; the foundation has very little coverage. I just use mine as a powder over a liquid foundation because if you have any blemishes on your face at all they'll show through. The mineral concealer works okay under eyes, but not really on blemises either.

But I do like the blush, wear that all the time.

So I bought some of your mineral products. The foundation shade on the site that looked like it ought to match my skintone was nothing like the color you represented it with. That tone was a pink with a peachy undertone. The foundation was ORANGE. The concealer, though, was the right shade for my skin. O.o But it doesn't work as a foundation at all. I plan to mix it with a SPF moisturizer so as not to waste my money and the foundation will be used to conceal undereye. Still. UCK!!! ORANGE?!?

its weird i hear a frog jumping springy sound in the back ground!-- this is much better than the other vids- color choices where not camera friendly everything looked muddy and to orange- maybe work on the lighting. but getting better..shelly

I video so much better than the last. It was concise and very well done. You could see the products in use how it was to blend it and the added tips was nice. I also like that it was video not just pictures. I really like the affordablity of E.L.F. I do recommend it a lot. I look forward to more videos from elf usa, I have to say I do like the elf uk vids better but great video none the less!

It is a mineral that comes from the Earth, but it's also a type of metal that most companies put in their mineral makeups that have been know to cause irritation. Bare Essentials/Minerals also contains this mineral. Its main side effect is constant itching and rashes.
