The Earth goes through a predictable and natural pattern of warming intervals, called interglaciations that last around 15,000 years separated by comparatively longer ice ages lasting around 100,000 years. We currently live in the Holocene warm period, the last three warming periods were much hotter than the Holocene. Also, the 0.7C increase in temperature last century is well-within, long-term, established climate trends. Nothing unusual is happening.

So CO2 is sitting around 385ppm, we can agree on that? Why is it the world cooled to present day temperatures from a global 22°C to todays global average of 12°C from concentrations of (up to 170 million years ago) 3000ppm. @judomagyar Water vapor is only available in large quantities in the atmosphere when there is enough net energy in the system to keep it there otherwise it condenses into rain clouds and drops out through precipitation. An increase in precipitation is expected at higher net energy levels hence more violent storms are not unexpected. CO2 do not form rainclouds and do not precipitate.

well recorded from when? what year was the temp accurately recorded? (1724 Gabriel Fahrenheit) So using your argument that they started recording accurately the temp, (they didn't) we have less then 300 yrs of data. In recorded history we have the mini ice age in the 1500's, the medieval warming period , (around 1000 ad.) Now ask yourself, how do we know there was a medievil warming period? We know from data taken in the 90s from northern europe (mostly england). Knowing that getting data from one source can be inaccurate, in the late 90s data was collected from the entire northern hemisphere test the accuracy
of the initial findings. when this was done (using a larger and therefore more accurate range of data) it was found that the findings in 1990 where inaccurate and the medieval warming period was overstated.

Go to Skeptical science and read all five of the recent posts on the non scandal of climate gate. It was entirely manufactured for and by fossil fuel interests. Six independent investigations found no falsifying of science or wrongdoing by any scientists at CRU or IPCC. What is falsified is every thing that comes out of denial land.

Monckton is the biggest fraud in the global warming debate. He was never a science advisor to Thatcher as he claims, was never a House of Lords member, as he claims, never discovered cures for AIDS, Herpes, and other diseases, as he claims.
Despite this, Monckton has insinuated himself to the U.S. Congress as an envoy from the British Parliament. He embellishes his temperature graphs, press releases, etc. with a very close approximation of the crowned portcullis, symbol of the Parliament.

The Earth goes through a predictable and natural pattern of warming intervals, called interglaciations that last around 15,000 years separated by comparatively longer ice ages lasting around 100,000 years. We currently live in the Holocene warm period, the last three warming periods were much hotter than the Holocene. Also, the 0.7C increase in temperature last century is well-within, long-term, established climate trends. Nothing unusual is happening.

(Note: The most recent period when CO2 levels were as high as today was around 15 million years ago, during the Middle Miocene. CO2 levels were at about 400 ppm. What was the climate like at the time? Global temperatures were 5 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit higher than they are today.)

@judomagyar Water vapor is only available in large quantities in the atmosphere when there is enough net energy in the system to keep it there otherwise it condenses into rain clouds and drops out through precipitation. An increase in precipitation is expected at higher net energy levels hence more violent storms are not unexpected. CO2 do not form rainclouds and do not precipitate.

well recorded from when? what year was the temp accurately recorded? (1724 Gabriel Fahrenheit) So using your argument that they started recording accurately the temp, (they didn't) we have less then 300 yrs of data. In recorded history we have the mini ice age in the 1500's, the medieval warming period , (around 1000 ad.) The worlds climate does change yes, but its due to wobbles in the earths orbit and solar activity....not my suv. smarten up pls

Howcome Venus stays at 450degrees C all year round while mercury can go down to -180 when not in direct sunlight despite being closer to the sun.
I know that Venus has a really thick atmosphere comprised mostly of Co2 and mercury doesnt but according to you that makes no difference. So please enlighten me as to why Venus is so much hotter oh wise one.

Climate = statistics of weather in specified region settled along a specified timeline, so as longer as we have more Cold weather the whole global warming bs is proved false.
So somehow deer friend climate means nothing more then the sum of weather recorded in a specified area embedded in some kinda timeframe.
I could prove global cooling by picking the freaking planet as the area and only set the timeframe around the last 3 years. This global warming nonsense is totally bogus.

looking at the last 3 years would shows a statistically insignificant trend because of the short time period. (i cbf explaining how statistics work).
now pretend for a second you weren't intellectually dishonest. what would you do? what you would do is look at all the available data rather than just cherry pick what suits you. and if you do that (which of course you wont) you can see a statistically significant positive trend.

of the initial findings. when this was done (using a larger and therefore more accurate range of data) it was found that the findings in 1990 where inaccurate and the medieval warming period was overstated.

Also even if we accept this MWP why would it matter? What matters is why there is warming. The current warming, which is far faster and more pronounced than any MWP scenario, can't be explained by natural processes, but can be explained by human activity.
