At the 2:40 point of the video, the man talks about how someone wouldn't even be able to hear a fighter-jet flying over an Insulated Concrete home

But this level of sound-proofing, can be very dangerous.

What happens when the TORNADO sirens start ringing and the family is unable to hear them ?

A young child could be out playing in the back-yard. But because the parents couldn't hear the TORNADO sirens, from inside the home, the child is left remaining outside and is seriously injured

How stupid is this comment?

a) you shouldn't be leaving children outside playing by themselves if they're too young to understand a tornado siren.

b) you shouldn't be leaving your children to play by themselves outside if there are tornado warnings in your area.

c) if you must leave your young child who doesn't understand tornado sirens outside playing by themselves during a tornado watch, then leave the effing window open so YOU can hear the siren.

You can leave a window open to hear your kid. Plus you have lots of information to know if the weather is going to worsen and in that case you don't allow your kidd to go outside. BEing a good parent shouldn't be spoiled for the type of house you live in
