@dbob19912 its actually a Formula, as the title says, with a TA body kit. MAACO sucks, and nothing wrong with my engine dude, its a hollow car, cherry bomb glasspack, nothing else.

okay, i career is body work and paint, i cant believe the paint made it home, ive had cars come to me straight from maaco with huge peices of the paint ripped off, just from driving it home, FUCK MAACO and PEACH'S, ur paint is gonna last about a year and ur gonna wish u braught it to me and spent $1,500 and paint

Actualy no, the car was never wrecked. it sat for years before i got it, and the paint was a mess, peeling, cracking, sun faded etc. plus i added all kinds of new body parts. :-)

it is a formula. from the factory, 1987 firebird formula, ws-6 suspension. it has a 1987 Trans Am body kit, which is why it no longer looks like a formula, the formy bumpers are GAY, and the power bulge hood looks funny :-)

how much did this run you guys? Im thinking about doing some body work and dropping my camaro off at maaco to get a cheap paint job since its a daily driver and itll be better then the faded paint it has now.

Rule #1.. Dont get black cars painted at maaco ahahah

Honestly if you did all the body work and it looked good then you should have painted it yourself. I'll bet you could have done a better job than they did.

The car isn't bad, but that paint is terrible.

We did the body work ourselves, so we have nobody to blame but us. problem is, MAACO took off ALL of our filler primer when they painted it, even though i told them not to. but, what do you want when a damn beaner, who doesnt even speak english for whatever reason.. is painting your muscle car?? lol

uhm really the paint leaves alot of work left to do, just in buffing, if i can even get orange peel out of it. it was supposed to be the pres. package at $450, i got it on sale for 250, they messed it up. my car had 1/4 tank of gas out of it, and my seat cover was all messed up. not to mention, somebody put their finger in the paint on the spoiler before it was completely dry. i would not recommend Maaco if you care how it looks...im very disappointed in them but yes, it looks alot better.thanks

I ahve a 66 galaxie going to start on body work in the next few weeks found rear quarter panels are rusting Ahh But i cant afford a "real" paint job. So Maaco worth the 450? and do they have and gaurantee qualitie ? Like if they royaly fucking ruined my car could i get it redone? Thanks Exo

naw, only if you're buying the supreme paint is it worth it. they got alot of orange peel in my paint, and some cracks on the hood, but it doesnt matter cuz i drove it off the lot without noting it.

yeah, it really just depends who's doing the work. Some maacos suck bad and some aren't bad at all. We had one in california, and i could have painted a car better with a roller, but here in tn the one here does a pretty decent job. We have a 2003 acura tl type s and when we bought it it had a bunch of key marks, and spider marks on the bumpers etc. we got the signature for 1000 plus a little bit of body work and it looks pretty good. nice car btw
