well yea they have a bridge and neck version of the same pickup, they both sound different, they both sound fantastic though, but im not sure about 2 bridge x2n's though, it would work well with a les paul , it might be a tad muddy if you go the gain to high, but just try it out :)

@ipkedupker Dude, go back to the asshole at the shop and tell him to solder the EARTH points CORRECTLY and EARTH the bridge and as much as he can, so you don't have that problem. It's the easiest part in electronics. One test to see if it's earthed correctly, is if it makes noise, touch the cable connector on the guitar with your hand, no gloves or anything, just skin, and see if the noise stops when plugged in.

Another problem if this does not help is Farady Shielding (simply putting a bit of copper foil/conductive paint around the pickup enclosure behind it to stop "unwanted radio waves" entering the pickup and making "noise". If you make contact with the strings, cable jack, anything metal and it won't go away, this could be the solution. DiMarzio don't f/up their pickups so relax about that side of it :-) p.m me if u get stuck i just did this on my 5150 guitar and it's crystal clear now

It could also be due to improper shielding in the electronics cavity of your guitar.
