The bot Seiko, would actually not be that hard to make. I've made similar head, BEAM symet before, it had a wider base compared to bot size ratio, but almost the same design. I think it's awesome that it could follow the track so well, but that could also be accomplished easily with a little bit of arduino or microcontroller programming.

What many don't realize is many of these ideas are usually created by British, American, Swedish etc companies etc. However it's cheaper to build these designs in places like China and Japan where many of it's workers, will work many long hours for little money.
