I remember well how much food you had. A plastic supermarket bag was an item of "decore" like if you had a jewel on you. Kolbasa in Moscow had to be sold past 6 pm so that the Moscow workers could compete with the people coming from hundred of miles away to buy it because in their towns there were nothing to buy. The people were held like cattle inside the borders of the Soviet Union, they were shoot to death if they would only try to escape from the paradise of the working class.
