Very good but if you notice the water has no where to go but back towards the elevator. Also the effect is akin to filling up a certain space with liquid. The blood in yours flows rather than splashes. The point where it came out, too, was at the top, so there should have been a slight splashing scene. If I had to grade U for believability as opposed to Tribute piece, you'd get 4 out 10. You have to think about the liquid and it's motions, not the look of the external ( the camera view).

I think kubrick just used water and food dye, as a miniature set would make the blood really thick if it was corn syrup. You did a great job, but as you see it bubble and kind of leaks and spreads rather than pouring into and splashing.

Thanks. We used corn syrup and all the bottles of red food colouring available that night at our supermarket. Was about 5 small bottles. Not quite enough so we added tomato sauce as we need a bucket of "blood."
